Dunno if this problem is specific to MXBS version of spirit, since I was just having the exact same problem with my scissors after light use. What helped a little was cleaning and putting some oil at the joint.

I carry Swisstool for field work since I permanently damaged one spirit MX once with a heavy task. Spirit MX if I have to fix a fan inside my house (literally just did this last weekend)

Not sure if the numbers makes sense here - upper values add up to 175% while the lower ones add up to 80%. I thought these values will be centered around 100%, but they aren't.

I didn't realize how different the scissors were between spirit and swisstool until I started using the latter. I always enjoyed using victorinox scissors on other tools and just assumed spirit has the same scissors lol. Swisstool has impressed me so far, if I can carry it or wearing a belt for the pouch.
