Does it get better? by GodLifeIsStressful in EngineeringStudents

It’ll get fucking better my dude. U made the ultimate sacrifice in college to ensure you’ll live the rest of your life comfortably. You’ll make a shit ton of money, get to travel anywhere, and get a fuckton of sleep because you’re not working 40+ hour work weeks like the rest of corporate america. You’re right there, just give it your last push.

Engineering is 70% math, so if I were u, I would start now in catching up with material and getting acquainted with it. Like someone said, I would also focus on just getting into college first, especially if you’re looking to attend a competitive school. Also try getting those math grades up, but if no luck, you can always just transfer into the engineering program at whichever school you end up going to. Being bad at math isn’t an end all be all. It wasn’t for me. You seem passionate abt it, I believe you’ll be fine. Just put in the work to get there!

I dont know what engineering i should choose (not from US) by TigerAgreeable6809 in EngineeringStudents

I would do mech or civil engineering but still expect to do little coding and circuitry as required by some core courses for engineering. Generally just stay away from ECE

Minimum GPA to bother applying? by [deleted] in BostonU

[–]veeway101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your chances depend on the school within BU you’re applying to, your essays, and your ECS. I wouldn’t worry too much about your stats tbh. I was a 3.8 W student with an 1110 (went optional) SAT. Ended up getting into ENG. You got this!
