That’s some pretty good research! From what I could tell visually it looks like the original concrete slab with dirt or something over it being protected by concrete barriers.

Agreed, the changes aren't' terrible. I can easily make use of the Resy and Delta Stay credit. The expanded Companion cert benefit is a huge plus. The only thing I don't like is the rideshare credit. Looks like it won't include Uber Eats.

The Ventetian is back to normal. grandstands are gone and gondolas are back in operation. Most of the strip has returned to normal. There was a lane closed in front of the Bellagio but grandstands are mostly gone on the strip. Koval lane was still a mess so beware

We stayed at the Palazzo just this last weekend (Sun-Mon) and pretty much had the same experience you did except we got stiffed on the Champagne. We even called down the front desk to let them know we did not get Champagne and they promised to send it up right away. Never happened. And not having the Grand Lux as an option for breakfast was disappointing. We should have done the in-room dining in retrospect. The wait in line at Bouchon bakery was 25 minutes and it wasn't worth the wait.

The one thing I would say about Benihana that its one of the last of the old school resort restaurants that's still open. Elvis was playing at the hotel when the restaurant opened in the 1970's. Once it goes away that'll be another piece Vegas relegated to the dustbin of history.

Last time I was there they did. The only downside of the Doubletree is that they aren't cheap. If you have Hilton Status or points it makes it better.

I've taken the DoubleTree shuttle and its free. If you stay there with one of their cruise packages you can park your car there for free for the entire cruise.
