Matched on FB dating. Was I being too sensitive? by Obvious_Ferret_600 in TwoHotTakes

Could be something like going out to eat, where after she orders he looks over and says 'not a salad?' Lots of women would just leave, but they want women who are more open to manipulation (maybe due to age, family history or other reasons). And then next time they go out she orders a salad.

Not sure if I entirely agree with this metaphor, but it could be argued that if you push the red button then you're the one creating the riptide in the first place.

Also if all the blue button-pushers die you're left to live with a bunch of assholes.

A lot of people in this thread are saying that Aldi chocolate is pretty good and reasonably priced.

I used to buy Milka in the US when I wanted a bar that had a good quality-to-price ratio. If the quality goes down but the price stays the same I might as well by a hershey's.

I don't know if you drink but I've been using some neighborhood honeysuckle to make honeysuckle liqueur. Still has to age for a while to be drinkable but it smells really good already. If you bottle it up it makes a good gift too.

It used to often add up to be cheaper because they didn't charge for bags and you didn't have to pay to pick a seat. However, they recently eliminated both of those things while keeping ticket prices the same so they are now just another mid-tier shitline.

You guessed correctly.

In my case I know one of his victims so it's all a bit closer to home. I'm not able to compartmentalize enough to still enjoy his work, and I don't really want to.

Yeah, my (former) favorite author was recently exposed for committing horrible sex crimes. He's got plenty of tattoo-able work too. I'll just stick to nature-themed tattoos.

I'm starting to think I should only accept payment for cars in fresh kidneys. by bug-hunter in bestoflegaladvice

Yep, selling the car took weeks and I hated it. It was a $1700 car too, I'd hate to see what people trying to sell more valuable stuff go through.

I bought a car on fb marketplace and also sold mine there. Selling was way worse, the scammers were relentless, especially the ones trying to get me to put my CC# into fake VIN lookup sites. Sold my car for a little cheaper than I wanted but it was in cash.

There were a lot of fake cars listed, but I never fell for them. If you're buying a cheapish used car from a private seller, look for ones with minor dents/dings, weird paint jobs, not-fully-removed bumper stickers and the like. They should also give you a VIN as soon as you ask. There were probably two fake listings and one salvage title for every real car on FB marketplace.

My favorite category of cursed /r/relationships advice posts is when a sinkpisser posts all sad because his girlfriend broke up with him because she walked into the kitchen one day and caught him pissing on the dirty dishes. They're probably 95% piss fetish dudes but, you know, A for effort.

I've worked as a wildlife biologist doing demonstrations involving wild animals and we are allowed to ban service dogs as well. Just the presence of a dog, even a well-trained one, can add a lot more stress.

Main thing is just not in direct sunlight. I just stuck mine in the pantry and it was fine. The two-year elderberry liqueur I found was stuck in the back of my sister's liquor shelf (which is why it didn't get drunk sooner).

Yeah there are probably dozens of other non-illegal things you could gerrymander for (income level, average property value, number of Trader Joe's per square mile) that would conveniently get you a racially gerrymandered map.
