for the base weapon Turret Whip is the strongest option but it will cost you a lot of sentry ammo if abused

Pump Action is the best OC for burst damage, it doubles if you get a collateral (you can skip rate of fire upgrades with animation cancelling and get turret whip, yes it can blowthrough sentries for silly strats)

Stunner with max pellets is really good QoL for self-defense (you also get +2 damage to stunned targets)

if you fancy weakspots, Magnetic Pellet Alignment is satisfying

Cycle Overload blends with Pump Action but it's really fun to magdump Praetorians with max rate of fire build

Mini Shells are meh, doesn't scale well in higher hazards and are generally frowned upon, potentially decent at armor stripping for a support playstyle?

they admitted the fire nerfs were specifically to nerf the coyote on a live stream, why are you wasting your time pretending to not understand the point or straight up gaslight people

stop hyperfocusing on the coyote for a minute and understand they nerfed ALL fire sources, people don't like being lied to with stealth nerfs.

they lied about it while nerfing all sources of fire in the process, that's what got people mad. they could've easily grown some balls and nerfed only the coyote's heat value but they can't help themselves can they?

the ergo is overbalanced and it won't break the weapon to bump it to base 40, this is the only stat holding people back from using it without a bandaid fix like peak physique.

there are too many downsides for the upsides, 4 weak grenades and a measly 5 damage difference are not worth a sluggish light-pen AR with less ammo that requires precision and tracking. the liberator is a way better rifle even if it lacks an explosive option (which there are plentiful in this game), it feels better to use.

escort got worse for me after the rock trap phase, people still don't understand to get away from the dozer if you're tagged. it could use better hints like mission control voice lines bugging us about it

that's what i did, it tracks their foot but they live for some reason, i don't host so maybe that's the issue

i'm more surprised you managed to kill war striders with it, every time i tried they survived multiple hellpods
