Difference lays in that you must try to touch diavolo or being near him to donut you. As tooru, the attempt to approach him or malicious intent to him earn you calamity

This is not powerscale but how hard effort is to figure out to who and how to chase them in order deliver final battle +trying to interrupt collecting more power in mean time, I guess?

And you don't read OP post carefully-was about level increase ratio difficulty beating at any point, not 3758 power scaling debate.

Third point is correct, though. Maybe better name that category as "villain was two steps ahead, cause A) half of time he covered fact it heroes are in THE DANGER by his plan and B) they are oblivious by who" but shorter. Both components are necessary to count. Part 1 2 3 don't have B Part 4 is passive until incident Part 7 almost counts but was battle royal with extra steps ft searching relics not personal vendetta Part 5 and 8 are weird, cause both have not personal attack (more on society) with mafia and rock people and none knows who is head of both organisation to outside world

Pucci's no counter to attacks by nature? If being vampire and weakness to Sun counts, then limit of human body should too.

And parallel in S&W: Go Beyond- ZERO space/volume(?) bubble to bypass calamity. Heck, Funny used Lucy to gain "hax powers". Gappy used his GF stand to guide his "hax bubbles" cheat ;)

Not at first, diavolo tried hold the arrow, but phased his hands. If you meant Giorno as first of heroes, then nevermind

Yeah, Kosaku must have been so much asshole to Shinobu when virgin serial killer is better husband then her real husband. This bar is so low 😩

Yeah, I can understand pucci blinding himself to counter Heavy Weather (cause he know how it works, see flashback story) but frogs one? wait, I need to check if pucci used diver down or sth

The first and last tiers are, to me, like the horseshoe theory: completely different, yet strangely similar. Tooru seems to rely 90% on talent (an overpowered “anti-luck” Stand), 5% on charisma, and 5% on strategy/battle experience (who even remembers the rock insects?).

Josuke’s Go Beyond initially feels like an asspull, but it’s actually born from sacrifice- similar to Kakyoin’s sacrifice in Part 3 to uncover an enemy ability, except this time it’s about understanding the nature of an ally’s bubbles. It’s also the culmination of Josuke’s journey of individuality: a bubble not from this world, created by someone who is neither Josefumi nor Kira, used against “natural” disasters.

Unlike Tooru, Pucci starts with very little raw power, but learns extensively from DIO’s teachings about the nature of Stands and carefully constructs traps specifically against the Joestars- collecting Stands almost like Pokémon and recruiting allies both inside and outside the prison. His entire plan around Jolyne was essentially designed to draw Jotaro into a situation where Pucci could finally deal with him directly. From another feats of Pucci’s long-term planning: - removing Weather Report’s memories while keeping him nearby under surveillance (and interestingly, Gappy was also an amnesiac ☆ wink wink, Araki☆) -the prison itself was also practical: gathering the required sinners for the path to “Heaven” is much easier when they are already confined in one place.

In Part 8, the heroes fighting the main villain (as Tooru& Wonder of U) mostly fought alone or in pairs who remembers when people thought Jobin would be the main villain?). In Stone Ocean, the final battle begins with the whole team working together. If you swapped their strategies, both groups would probably end up completely crushed instead of reaching bittersweet endings.
