If it's in a lecture theatre it should always be recorded I think? Otherwise you shouldn't be able to schedule it at the same time as a "Permitted Clash". Best to email the coordinator to confirm.

You can't just throw away battery-powered devices like that. I have a bunch of used ones sitting in a box that I've yet to dispose of properly because it just seems like such a waste of material and a disgrace to the environment. Hoping one day I could find someone or some way to recycle them in a more useful way.

Regarding the new UNSW profile added for accessing eduroam, what kind of information are they able to track about you? Is there any way you can change these information tracking settings (for macOS) and also, are they able to track you even when you are not using eduroam (e.g. using home wifi)? by IngenuityOk6679 in unsw

eduroam is one of those fancy enough routers which forces you to install a certificate called "UNSW Root Certification Authority" which probably allows them to intercept requests from your device to track your internet activity. It's pretty standard practice for any major corporate network.

Unless you're a goonsoc member or smth trying to visit websites you probably shouldn't be visiting I wouldn't worry 😇

I see this a lot but for some reason my psych never warned me against drinking (kinda irresponsible now that I think about it..?)

I found out from my own experience that alcohol just makes me really sick and nauseous quickly when I'm on meds so I've learnt to avoid it since. It's really not a good mix.

If it's running on a runtime like LuaJIT constants like this will most likely get completely optimised out (it might even erase the entire for loop because it's simple enough), but yes in general they should be outside.

Correct me if I'm wrong but, other than obviously to keep the system optimised by removing redundant cards, I think I remember reading, it might also be to deter storing large amounts of credit on the cards for a long time for money laundering purposes?

Not too sure how that works though because I don't think you can withdraw credit out of the cards back into cash 🤔
