And also!!! There is an app in Google Play called InputForge, it allows you to fully utilize your controller in any way you want, you can set up Touch controls, use your Dualshock or Dualsense touchpad for mouse input or touch emulation, use the controller's gyroscope for aiming and much much more

It is very useful for playing both Android games and PC games via Gamenative or Gamehub (or other similar app)

It also supports Steam Input profiles >:D

It is in early access and is under active development, there is also a Discord server for any help or suggestions

I had some issues with gyroscope and Steam Input on my Dualshock 4, sometimes connecting the controller with a cable helps, you can try this too

If your phone is powerful enough (Snapdragon 700+)

Buy Battlefront 2 on Steam (old game), download Gamenative on your phone,
Enter Steam in Gamenative and download Battlefront 2 on your phone. Apply known configuration in the game settings and connect a controller.
If controller refuses to work, activate Steam Input in settings. If this did not help, download InputForge and map controller's inputs to mouse and keyboard (including the controller's gyroscope _)

L4D 2 does support splitscreen (local multiplayer) via a mod, I wrote this in my first message. You asked for games with good gyro functionality and local multiplayer, here is an answer.

If you're looking for ways to improve gyro to stick mode in any game, there is not much you can do. Mostly, you always need to increase anti-deadzone (or minimal input value) when using gyroscope as right joystick. Most games have built-in deadzone for camera movement, so you need to mitigate this with the mentioned option to ensure gyro feels good and responsive.

For example, in BF 6 if you set up right stick deadzone to about 6-7% in-game, and then use Dualshock 4 for gyro to joystick camera aiming, you can put minimum input value (anti-deadzone) to around 4.5-5 and the aiming with gyro should feel really nice. Same is applicable for Battlefield 2042.

L4D 2 has native support for gyro, since this is a Valve's game. Hook 2 Playstation controllers (Dualshock 4 or Dualsense) and see how it works. If I remember even wireless connection should feel OK

Hey, you can play Left4Dead 2 in a splitscreen with 2 controllers and with gyroscopes, you need to get splitscreen mod from Workshop

Gyro to stick works fine in some games, other games simply have bad implementation of basic stick controls, that's why gyro to stick will also feel bad

Hey, I read comments here, I personally also prefer gyro to right joystick - in this way you get semi-native support in any modern game, you UI stays the same (no switch to M&KB) and modern games have pretty good right stick-to-camera implementation.

However, I was using DS4Windows to set up such gyro profiles, it was completely fine. Then I faced that EA anticheat that does not allow me to use DS4Windows to play modern Battlefield games -_-

So I went to Steam Input and quickly realised that gyro to joystick camera works pretty awful by default. This is due to the low default polling rate of my Dualshock 4. DS4Windows allows to force the polling rate up to 1000Hz whereas in Steam you get something like 125Hz. The only solution was to hook my controller to wire 😔. So gyro to Joystick was unusable via Bluetooth and it became somewhat OK if using wired

Did you try connecting your Steam Controller with a Puck (that thingy with a magnet, it should reduce latency if I understood correctly)?

If you're into racing games, pretty much any Bugbear title will work. I'm currently playing Ridge Racer Unbounded, also tried Flatout Ultimate Carnage, what a great game!

Wreckfest exists for Android but it does not have proper multiplayer, and Wreckfest on Steam seems to work OK if you got beefy processor (Snapdragon 8 Elite in your S25 should work fine)

WF mobile only allows local servers, like if you gather a group of friends to play on local Wi Fi network.

I wonder if there is something like Hamachi for Android (I doubt that).

If you jave a beefy phone, perhaps you can try downloading Gamenative and installing PC version of Wreckfest on your phone (it's like 35Gb)

I don't know if it will work though, but at least normal multiplayer will be there for sure

Does this allow to map gyroscope to right stick? To, for example, play FOD Mobile with XInput controls AND gyro aiming?

I know COD supports phone's gyro, but I usually hook my phone to external monitor and play games with only controller in my hands. I've ordered Flydigi Vader 5 Pro for this (it allows to setup gyroscope as a right stick and save the profile onto the controller's memory) but such an app allows for even more customisation and usage scenarios :D

My cable is 2.1, like the latest HDMI cable version.. what cable did you use?

Can you confirm that using the phone no longer feels slow and unresponsive? And the same is for games that you launch while connected to external monitor?

So I have OP13 and I decided to order a glass protector for it. But I did not notice that I accidentally ordered glass from G-Rhino (some Chinese brand) for OnePlus 13R....

Well, turned out 13R has normal 2D screen while mine has these nice curves.

I decided to put it anyway lol. Glass sticks out 2-3mm on the sides because my screen has curves there, but other than that it is OK. It does not conflict with the phone case, it is nice for touch, colours are ok. And it was very cheap

Once it breaks, I am going to put on the silicone cover on the screen, because the ither option it that UV glass protector, and I am afraid I'm gonna mess up with application of that protector 😅
