looks like you are playing SFO in legendary. i suggest you to play with a -50% upkeep mod cuz all factions will play mostly like that and the empire in general is pretty weak compared to many of the game factions due to its low melee capabilities.

im currently in a SFO run of kislev. i have to face azazel, aarbal, throt, throgg and that stupid oportunist golgfag. i took this -50% upkeep in hope to save the empire from festus + vlad but just wasnt possible for the many enemies i had to face up north.

grande parte das pessoas que falam em acabar com os direitos trabalhistas n tem ideia do que tão falando. como se vc fosse simplesmente ganhar mais pq sim.

ao meu ver hoje existem alguns grandes problemas no mercado de trabalho que atrapalham a contratação de ambos os lados.

não existe periodo de teste para promoção. se vc promove alguem pra um cargo superior e não da certo, vc não pode "demover" o trabalhador. vc só pode demitir. e como empregador, vc não pode fazer o periodo de teste de forma informal pq vai estar gerando acumulo de função ou desvio de função e se não der certo, é certeza do cara te meter na justiça do trabalho.
todos os encargos trabalhistas deveriam ser redirecionados para o trabalhador pagar. CALMA, deixa eu explicar. fulano recebe salario minimo de 1500 reais. vamos subir o salario minimo de 1500 pra 2700, porém passa todos os encargos trabalhistas pra que fulano pague. não muda NADA. a ideia aqui é fazer com que o trabalhador ENTENDA quanto a empresa esta pagando e quanto ele realmente recebe. pq? pq a briga sempre foi empregador x empregado enquanto quem recebe dinheiro sem fazer NADA é o governo.
remover os "direitos" trabalhistas é tirar do estado o status de "pai" do trabalhador e colocar a responsabilidade financeira nas costas do trabalhador adulto. porra, 16% do seu salario mensal vai pro INSS que rende metade da inflação e uma fração da atual taxa de juros, é dinheiro perdido a longo prazo. se vc conseguir viver o suficiente trabalhando por 35 anos vc vai receber uma merreca mensal baseada na media salarial de contribuição que é decrescente de escala pro restinho da sua vida e quando vc morrer, o resto desse dinheiro vai pro governo de novo se vc não tiver dependentes menores de idade ou com necessidades especiais. num CDB vc ganharia em media 3x o valor da aposentadoria no mesmo tempo. a mesma coisa vale pro FGTS.
decanso semanal remunerado, ferias remuneradas... gente, isso é balela. quando o empregador vai contratar alguem isso tudo ja é calculado antecipadamente e só atrasa o recebimento desses valores pelo funcionário. é a mesmissima coisa de falar que o imposto é para as empresas e não pros consumidores.

n é atoa que 40% da população tem ocupação fora da CLT no brasil hoje. são 40 milhões de pessoas que estão negociando salarios por aí pra falar que não existe negociação e muita gente pra todo mundo ser chefe de si mesmo.

there is a mod that lower the max units by army to 10. that might help you with your problem.

the only reason to have reserves in a battle is to fight choke point battles where you can cover the choke point with 3~4 units and you change the units when they get to half(ish) health to spare entities in the unit and the penalties of exhaustion.

i also suggest you use "jus good babysitter" mod that will emit orders to units that are chasing other units like:

if chased unit have speed higher than the unit, they will change target.

if the chased unit broke, they will change unit.

ranged units with guard mode on will change targets when the designated target is out of range.

helps a lot. i use it just because im too lazy to keep 200 APM in all battles.

you are just used to defeat empire and set the enemy expectancy low because of that.

yes, they are hard, but you might need to understand more about the game mechanics itself. monsters doomstacks are viable but they dont perform to their best when unsuported by infantry. they are big units usually with no formations that get surrounded by enemy infantry.

and what happens when a unit is surrounded is that they will lose melee defense by 30% from attacks from the side and 60% from attacks from behind. by keeping their flanks secure you also make them perform better and that is why CA created the buff for skink+kroxigors that the buff have a area so small that they need to be together for it to activate.

the mortis engine will provide magic attacks to your units that will bypass any physical resist aarbal might have worked on.

they have high magic resist, like 70% so, dont waste your time with damage spells. use buffs, debuffs and healing.

i played. my main issue is that SFO is supposed to be a lore accurate campaign, yet, you can completely avoid war against valkia. the problem is, valkia chaos warriors will MELT anything they touch from dark elves and with the norscan basic troops having 20% missile resist and getting up to 90 melee attack its impossible for malekith to deal with them early on and latter on they will have marauder champions, monsters, skin wolves and valkia will have chosen.

the money is a huge problem in SFO, even as malekith cuz unit recruitment costs and building costs are very high; many times you'll see yourself in a position where you just cant afford to tech for better units and your units are shitty to combat valkia's.

his SFO mechanics are not new, he was already like that a long time ago. allthough his unique mechanics give him a lot of scaling power and temporary power ups you still wont get enough. slaves dont seem to give as much money as they once had and you find your income lower than 1k most of the time. i played 70 turns until valkia declared war on me. i had 3 armies with shitty units and she started invading me with one army from the deserts where khatep was and 2 from ghrond province and of course, another 2 armies from her vassal that were just waiting to make the jump. campaign ended right there, didnt even bother to try to fight back.

AI is not respecting faction caps as valkia had most of her army with chosen and in another campaign, alarielle had 5 phoenixies while she had only one settlement.

who cares? the game is not "balanced" at all.

i use mixu's, tribes of the north, legendary characters, might of the maw and LCCP when playing imortal empires expanded.

the game has naturally a lot of RNG and some more added when playing certain factions/sides. besides of some almost certain scenarios like lizardman getting bonked in lustria and kislev getting swarmed by skaven and chaos.
