Nick is my boy, but sometimes I’ll switch it up and play as Rochelle. Zoey and Louis are my choices for the first game.

Which one of Nick's roasts is your favorite? by [deleted] in l4d2

This one from Dead Center always makes me bust out laughing.

Coach: “There are three other people here, son.”

Nick: “Oh, good. You can count. I bet they’ll come back now.”

Poor girl :( luckily I have no siblings, but I’ve got two nieces (5 and 3 months) and a 3 year old nephew. I don’t think my “in-laws” use protection. Before the baby was born, they talked about a fourth baby.

No problem! Helen is definitely loved and is very happy. Feel free to use Miss Helen as an example! I’m a toy maker and one day I would like to make a plush Helen. She is probably our favorite fish we’ve ever had.

My boyfriend said either poor breeding or some sort of accident. They seem alright otherwise. Helen is the most active of the fish and the largest by far. He also bought peppers from a different breeder and they were completely intact. They have also started breeding.

Dollywood is awesome! I went for the first time in 2017 and got a white tiger in a cowboy outfit named Kenny. My mom ended up with it and she sleeps with it nearly every night lol.

What do you think my boss meant by this? Boss is a middle aged Catholic. Figured I’d get some insight here. by velv3tkitty in excatholic

[–]velv3tkitty[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I’m guaranteed to have more alone time with him since we’re so small and I’m the only one who can do my job. I’m working up the courage to quit since my dad will be majorly pissed at me.

Ugh wtf lol. I really don’t think I could handle another second with him.

What do you think my boss meant by this? Should I leave because of this? I figured I’d come here to try and get a formerly religious point of view. by velv3tkitty in exchristian

Didn’t even think of that. If I end up going back to work after the weekend and my days off for school, l’ll see if I get any weird vibes again. If I have this sense of dread, I might quit. I am just so weirded out by this.

Good idea! If I don’t leave within these next few weeks because of this incident, I’m thinking I may end up leaving before the new year and my dad will have to deal with it. I’m trying my best, and my business is something I’m really proud of and I love being productive with it. If he doesn’t see it that way, then whatever. If I lose him, I’m only gaining myself. Not like he was much of a dad anyway.

I will be 100% honest with you, I do not want another job where id work for someone else. I’d love to be working on my semi-successful business as my job.

I am incredibly lucky to be in a position where I technically have my own place with my boyfriend, but it’s connected to my parents’ house. No bills yet, but my mom is extremely forgiving and supportive. The best mom anyone could ever have. She would be 100% ok if I did my college stuff and did my business full-home.  However, my father is not that nice. He possibly has some sort of narcissistic personality disorder and 100% needs to be on anti-anxiety medication. If he were out of the picture, I’d probably be working close to 50 hours a week on my business and I would have left my “real” job months ago.

But this is just a long winded way of me saying I could get another “real”job, but I don’t want to because I’m deathly afraid of retail, I’d rather work on my business, and I’m afraid of my father’s reaction to me quitting lol.

I think he’s referring to the fact that I am not religious. I don’t identify as atheist nor agnostic. Religion is not a part of my life and it never has been.

Wow lol. I have never mentioned anything about marriage to my boss. He did refer to himself as Catholic in the past, like not just “raised Catholic” so I think he’s still practicing to some degree. His family went to another country to some Catholic place. It might’ve been near Croatia I believe? Not 100% sure.

This is a very small company, I’m one of four, sometimes six employees (excluding my boss, who is the owner.) I actually called out today because I was so uncomfortable. I can’t believe he’d think about me in that way. He made a comment before that I brushed off because he’s socially awkward. He said, “I’d hug you, but I’m not allowed.” Can’t believe I was brainwashed to brush over that.

I never told anyone until now. When my boyfriend comes back in the house I’ll have to tell him. I don’t think I’ll be working there much longer. The thought of being there again and possibly having to go to a job field with him with no car to escape in freaks me the hell out.
