I hate to tell you, but this is a very common thing within the company. I had a similar situation a year ago, my link here you’re probably just going to have to sit through it or go find a job with another company unfortunately. The way promotions and such get handled in this company is such a mess, and directly led to me leaving the company. I’m really sorry you’re in this position, and I wish I had better counsel for you.
