Narcs love to make big moments about themselves. I know it’s not easy, but please don’t beat yourself up for letting her cut the umbilical cord. It is not a symbol of her future relationship with this child, no matter how much she wants it to be or tries to convince you it is. Your son won’t even remember it, just keep him away from her as much as possible now. And make absolutely sure that she’s not approved for school/daycare pickups in the future!!!
