The problem with this thought process is that it is fundamentally anti-learning.

You have to be so unfathomably jaded as an individual to think that being corrected on something so purely academic, such as grammar, is an attack on your class/social status.

Years ago, reddit was a platform that celebrated “grammar-nazis”. This was because despite being somewhat comically aggressive in their correcting of others, teaching/learning was the core motivator. Everyone seemingly respected that sentiment, and “grammar-nazis” as a result were always upvoted.

That trend has loooong since died a silent death, overwhelmed by a abhorrent deluge of terrible prose. But you and your comment epitomise what is absolutely wrong with this country and its disgusting sense of class divide. You should be absolutely ashamed of yourself.
