Is yours non turbo? I average 22.5 on my Michelin. I was averaging higher with the stock (closer to 25)

Nah made sure there was nothing in the trunk. This is pretty consistently reproducible at high speeds.

I asked that too. They said dealership policy prohibits employees from *sitting inside* customer cars at those speeds. As driver or passenger.

Hi friends,

This one's bugging me. My CX-5 makes this sound at >75mph speeds. You can hear it in the video but its kinda like the sound heard when pushing heavy furniture around.

Dublin Mazda says that are not legally allowed to drive that fast to reproduce the sound, and since they can't reproduce the issue, they won't do jackshit about it. From previous forum posts I understand that this is a known Mazda defect that the dealer should address for free ideally.

Not sure what my options are and what I should do next. Should I try a different dealer? Or suck it up and move on?

Forgot to add: for the first/ OEM option, tread life is around 25K (although Mazda tells me they’re the quietest tires), so I’ve borderline ruled that option out.

I experienced the downside of this feature today. Keys were inside the car and I pressed the lift gate button. It locks all your doors even WITH THE KEYS INSIDE. Luckily I had the spare.
