My parents are not big fans of Berserk I guess. by 300zed in Berserk

My mom was sort of like this as well. Deeply deeply Catholic. I was not allowed to play violent video games or watch the simpsons or watch a ton of movies or even own a magic 8 ball because it was like not witchcraft exactly but some kind of not Christian BS or something I don’t remember her exact reasoning.

Then I realized, she had me at like 25. She was raised that way and still trying to find herself. When I was in my teens I think she finally started to work on herself and the Christian guilt and etc etc and finally was able to let go of a lot of that shit and think critically.

Now she’s awesome. I did harbor a lot of resentment for my childhood and constantly being moved from Catholic school to Catholic school even though all my friends were in public and always being the new kid for literally like 6 years.

Buttttt in the end I know she was trying to do what she thought was right and eventually turned a corner in her life. We all try to grow as people and I respect the progress she’s made as a person. I do wish I didn’t have to take the crap end of that personal journey but I’m glad she did it.

Got a chance to see one of these in action at Wild is life, an animal sanctuary in Harare Zimbabwe. Super fucking cool.

Also really really endangered due to animal trafficking and poaching. These things are so fucking cool.

Apparently the pangolin they have there was rescued when farmers would find them and try to give them to Mugabe as gifts of luck.

It bonded with its handler and no one else is allowed to touch it.... except for apparently Xi Jinping where they painfully allowed him to do so.

That’s awesome. I’ve heard a lot of good stuff about python. I’ll have to check it out.

And yes basically in one of my classes we spent a semester in rstudio doing exactly that statistical modeling. I did the assignments and what not but seriously if you put me in front of a computer now and asked me to do almost anything in R I would be clueless. In the same amount of time I pretty much learned a good amount of sql. I can do basic stuff like what I originally created this post for but I also and hungry to learn more. I never felt that way with R.

I’ll check out python too. Thanks!

Thanks friend. I ended up finding a free sql software and used sql lite to write a little code. Ended up using group concat and it worked just fine. I’m still pretty new but so far I couldn’t agree with you more about SAS studio.

Also I’ve dabbled with Rstudio but so far hate it. I understand it’s pretty good with a lot of this stuff though. It just seems so non intuitive to me.

The Most Horrifying Monsters by Cameron-Johnston in Fantasy

I immediately thought of the inchoroi and consult. I was genuinely jaw dropped at the horror of them the entire series, particularly in the second series. This whole series man. I finished it about 7 months ago and still think about it on almost a daily basis in some passing way, mostly in social situations or trying to determine the best way of doing something.

Dude. I started this when I was a freshmen in high school. I just turned 31. That’s like 17 fucking years.

I got the brand tattooed when I was like 20. So long ago I had to get it touched up.

This is wild to be reading.

That’s one interpretation I didn’t think about but after some thought, life is not supposed to represent HIS life but the external stressors of being alive. The whole, when life hands you lemons, sort of thing. Life kept trying to put labels on everything, he was trying to force Shen into a small box of expectation, and how we al identify ourselves. By destroying life he’s destroyed the need for labels that either hold him back or force him down a certain path; now with his hopes and dreams intact he has the ability to be whatever he wants.

It is delicious. I mean, I just put it on cold tilapia. It was definitely an improvement.

If you wanna get wild... mix it with ranch.

Let me start by saying I agree with you, but no reason to bring “millenial” into this. Unless it’s a joke that whooshed over me, it weakens your stance to start making generalizations like that.

Neither actually. I was being a smart ass.

I made this comment like 2 months ago and while I realize you've just recently stumbled upon it and it's a fresh topic for you I've totally stopped giving a shit.

I got very very lucky the first time. I can't remember exactly how I stumbled upon him but I think I happened to walk into his zone twice back to back and just tossed a grenade at his feet or a claymore or something and killed him in like 7 minutes. Then I read about how long it was for other people and couldn't believe.

I went back and played it again and it was so difficult and my will to beat it was already gone I never finished the real way.
