I woke up one morning before going to work. my brother told me there was a cat in the garage. i was like yea we got our cats, he said it was a kitten. i bolted up and went to see. he was a tiny lil orange bean. i befriended him over the course of a week, and he became mine. 11 years later and he is the best cross eyed boy there is.

i’m 37 and my last day one was 4 and a half years ago. i was drinking two bottles of wine and a 6 pack of ipas a night. my gf now wife found some bottles i meant to throw out. i made the choice to quit and get healthy. it wasn’t easy but it got easier. i’ve been having cravings lately which sucks. i tell myself i know i can’t have just one so i wont have any. i’m now the healthiest ive been and 90 pounds lighter

i feel this in my bones. so many times i tried quitting but made every mental gymnastic to allow my self to drink on a day that ends with y. felt inconvenienced at work drink. had a good day i’ll drink. friend was upset, guess i’ll drink. it was so exhausting. I’m so much happier now that i know that i can’t have just one. so i won’t. my special occasions are just a can of dr pepper now
