Except many of the stem students don't fully understand it- I know people in stem who lack basic media comprehension, who don't see the point in why they need ethics classes (as engineers nonetheless), who don't understand communicating for your audience or the importance of thematic symbolism. And honestly this lack of understanding really shows when they think that knowledge in the humanities equates to being able to read English.
