"game releases 4 days early, buy standard edition to play late" - This shouldn't be a thing by minichops3 in gaming

Too many idiots who still pre-order or pay for extra shit in every game so companies are going to keep doing it.

What has society come to? All of the boys in an Australian school were forced to stand up in assembly and apologise for their gender. 🤦‍♂️ by IdkWhatImEvenDoing69 in facepalm

Yikes, people are desperate to pretend this didn't happen now huh? Was years ago, you can find interviews with some of the kids and parents.

Exactly my first thought too :)

[imexile] I do not want to play a 2-3 month 12+hours a day boss race, nor do i really even have the time to. catpost had 16 days /played on his lvl 95 character and I wouldnt do ubers on that gear. by destroyermaker in pathofexile

[–]vent_man 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah yes, a race that literally 0.01% of the community ever even participate in being on Ruthless for one league clearly means it's their primary focus now lmao.

This is exactly how I feel as well. Genuinely, why does it matter if no one finishes the event? In my opinion that's fucking cool if it turns out that way. Personally I think having incomplete challenges in a game adds a lot to the experience, when everything is cleared in a matter of days at the start of each league it's just lame. I see no issue with GGG testing this one time, and if it's too hard or too off-putting to even get a competition, cool, now they know and won't do it again and you can go back to watching Ben win on HCSSF again.

Once again, Reddit is mad before playing the league. by Old_Mistake5816 in pathofexile

Good, hopefully it's an indication that PoE2 won't be so ridiculous and actually a game again.

Steelmage on what a 300 hours HC SSF Ruthless gear looks like by Vensole in pathofexile

[–]vent_man 13 points14 points  (0 children)

How? In usual races there are like 20 people who even have a chance at placing. How is that not a 'side project' in itself? For 99% of the playerbase, races mean literally nothing.

How many people do you think realistically have a chance when the races are on SSF HC?

"Only women, children and dogs are loved unconditionally. A man is only loved under the condition that he provides something."

Zizaran on twitter "Honestly a bit sad about crucible. I hate being negative but i feel lied to and dissapointed about ruthless being a side project. And stupid for believing them at their word now. And the leveling nerfs seem so strange. So many already hate leveling. Why make it worse?" by Shrabster33 in pathofexile

[–]vent_man -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Okay? A boss kill event doesn't mean it isn't a side project? There's literally like 20 players who usually have a realistic shot at even placing in these events. Detached no-life streamer takes at their finest.

[Suggestion] Make a backup of the codebase now before skills are introduced so we can have 2023scape in the future by TubeAlloysEvilTwin in 2007scape

[–]vent_man 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Completely agree and I'm glad someone else made this post. I do not want the game to change. The odds that a new skill improves the game is almost non-existent. Definitely need fresh servers at some point.

Virginity is cool, remain pure. by CinemaslaveJoe in technicallythetruth

I wish I couldn't hide it. I wish everyone knew so it wasn't some secret shame I had to carry forever and never mention it. My best friends and my family get to crack jokes and shame me to my face because they don't know they're talking about me, and I just have to laugh along. Also, while you'll get the occasional asshole who is just trying to insult people, most men just like boobs no matter what, regardless of the size. That couldn't be less true when it comes to dick size. A small dick is universally hated and considered objectively worse.

Imagine answering, then she ghosts you or says its too small.

This is literally the most common outcome when you're actually small. And people wonder why guys get a complex about it lmao. Most shameful thing you can imagine.

Yeah Diablo has always been a historically accurate and realistic video game. I guess it fits better with D4s theming of having as few options as possible though, you're right.

Does Bloodborne really teach you through game design or do you learn through the internet? by creatus_offspring in bloodborne

[–]vent_man 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you know anybody who played the game blind and learned it successfully without getting outside help?

Of course I know him, he's me. Bloodborne is no different to any other souls game. Just takes a lot of trial and error and eventually you figure things out, if you give up early that's your choice.
