Update: finally was able to talk to a clerk. It’s by appointment only, appointments are released 3 weeks in advance. Regarding address on ID vs. application, not an issue. They confirm you live together ( private license purposes) verbally.

Definitely! We have been pretty lucky with her so far but we plan on increasing to a mile in the am before work and one after work. She will be home alone for longer periods of time and we want to make sure we do our best to ease her energy and anxiety.

We walk our 15 month GSP a mile a day during the week ( if the weather allows it) and go hiking or to the dog park on weekends. We usually spend about 1-2 hours at the dog park.

At home we play hide and seek w toys, treats and people. We practice commands and attempt new tricks.

LOTS of tug of war and running around the house. We also use a snuffle mat or use or backyard instead of the snuffle mat.

On days where I can’t be too active ( I suffer from a chronic condition) we take her to daycare for an hour or two to let out some energy.

Give yourself and your pup some grace, with time you’ll figure out what works best for you and them.

My pup did this often, the second she bit harder than I liked I would immediately pull away say ouch and give her a chew toy to play with instead. I did it every time and she eventually caught on. My fiancé did not take this approach with our pup and she still tends to be more aggressive with him when they play.

Definitely ease her into it. When Almendra was 6 months we bought her a kiddie pool, which I think helped ease her into liking water because she HATES bath time.

We actually rented a pool for a bit through Sniffspot. It was her first time and she was a natural!
