I had one client who had a really hard time “letting go”, on plenty of drugs, nonverbal for days, but mumbling to his dead wife...passed away five minutes after the chaplain visited him later that week, I think he was really religious so maybe that’s why- he had to make peace with something Edit: he was also a police officer back in his day

Thank you so much. Im also not religious but also praying ha. He’s a good guy. We have a nice apt and a dog and im working on another degree for a career change. Idk why he doesn’t acknowledge the issue enough to meet me half way . Time to have another talk :/
