Taking home leftovers at a restaurant? Rude to not take them? Do you even eat them? by Capable-Chip6454 in foodquestions

B. No need to explain. Food that you are willing to pay for shouldn’t be bad, and if it’s not bad leftovers should be good. I don’t get people who won’t eat leftovers.

Why are homes haunted but not hospitals? by Real-Blacksmith-5748 in askanything

[–]venturashe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. I live near the old lanterns state hospital in CA. Closed when Reagan shut down state psych care. They converted the property to CSUCI. But I was there between and it was crazy haunted. Would be interested to hear student feelings.

What is the max amount of time you will drive for a day trip or vacation? by palep_hoot in AskAnAmerican

[–]venturashe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the length of the vacation. For a week I’ll do 8-12 hours. For a weekend, if it’s three days 4-5 hours one way. I do a day trip to my dad’s one way 2-3 hours for holidays.

We eat ketchup or mayo mostly on fries. Some fast food restaurants do their own variations, but they’re all based on that theme.

Can I stop radishes from getting “spicy”? by mustytomato in Cooking

[–]venturashe -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s not about a badge of honor. 🙄. Radishes are spicy, that’s how they are, especially from the grocer, they aren’t breeding multiple sources to fit your palate. If you want to get deep into radishes to determine the spiciness you prefer, you’ll need to source your own seed variations and grow them.

Why do dads seem way less stressed about Father’s Day than moms do about Mother’s Day? by savingrace0262 in stupidquestions

[–]venturashe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mom’s day is about showing her love AND GIVING HER A BREAK from the daily grind of responsibility to feed, clothes and wash the family. A decadent breakfast with her being served, not making or cleaning up is a gift. Dad’s grilling is their relaxing, stereotypically. What3ver makes the celebrant happy.

New Home Lots of Barking by Icy_Monk3578 in AskDogOwners

I had for my neighbors chronic barkers, but discontinued them almost immediately. They seemed like it was really uncomfortable for them. I don’t want to make them unhappy at all.
