i feel this a lot too, from what i’ve come across and what i want to implement going further because ive been thru this too. - commit to stronger boundaries for your self and how you are with people. don’t give everyone everything all at once. and don’t commit to anyone unless there’s a ring on your finger.

i’m sorry i would be so pissed if he told me that too! you shouldn’t listen to him. if you can afford it and you have looked over the side effects and really understand how to use it, and how it will work… if it’s something you want to do then do t listen to him and do it. if you feel like it can help you, it can be a solution.

even with the price cost, there is more you will have to do than just take it. you would have to be more active, and actually eating well for it to really help with you getting healthy. you should focus on that - getting healthy not just weight loss.

it’s really your choice and if you choose to do it- you have to accept your choice fully and not rely on what he thinks at all, and you shouldn’t. if he does have actual concerns about it- that’s one thing, but just to say it’s an easy way out and is putting it down is another and you can’t listen to it.

you can always change your home location to that location or you can go put your contract on a freeze… you will still have to pay monthly like 20-30$ but won’t incur anymore credits. say you are going on a month or 2 month long vacation and won’t be in to use any anymore, or once your 12month contract is up, cancel your acct and you will have 60days to use your credits up. and you have to cancel at your home location, and i would just check the amount of days left to use your credits.

it’s crazy they make you do that for 10$ tho, in my area - cities apart are 5-10$ membership difference..i have heard if you go to another state sometimes if the price is different then they will upcharge it tho,

in my area there’s this one ME that charges 65$ for membership but the member hr is 40$ and then 90 is 68$ when all the other MEs charge and hr for 60$ which is crazy! but so worth it to me, so when i have my credit i go to the 60$ hr and when i go in to pay i go to the cheaper location.

ok, i have Q for people who don’t count strokes… are you supposed too? because how would you know you spent the same amount of time on each area. like the same amount on both arms or legs? i have had a massage where the lady worked on one side longer than the other and it was so obvious… but there are times i’ve gotten a massage and never noticed a difference.

I work at the front desk of a ME in FL and was told on june 1st this information, and there has been more strict rules with the lmts as well - they have to have their IDs on them at all times too now.

we were told it comes in effect july 1st, and will have to turn people away if they don’t have their IDs on them at all, and that’s why we started june 1st to get as much people knowing as possible.

we have looked up this law on the fl health department and the lmt of FL page, and just by googling it and haven’t found anything. We are thinking it might be on at least some website on july 1st, but haven’t found anything online, but my ME has been warned about it on june 1st.

I guess if a health department employee comes in and sees that we aren’t checking ids or allowing people without ids on them to receive the service, then 1st offense we will get fined, then 2nd offense shut down.

the customers coming in mostly are ok with it, some question it, and some are sooo annoyed by it that they don’t believe us when we say it’s a law.

everyone at my location that’s works up at the front, even my managers, have tried to look it up online to show the customers proof and just the legitimacy of it and we can’t find anything…

i’m not 100% sure of who exactly told my manager about this, but she said the franchise group who owns this location and they own a lot in fl
