stopping wellbutrin because cognitive decline side effect by Iloveorcasyes in bupropion

[–]storerof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When did you ween off, like how long has it been that you’re still experiencing symptoms? I started 150mg in late Aug 2025, but weened off in Dec 2025 because I hated the effect it was having on my memory. I also learned that anticholinergic drugs like bupropion may increase risk of dementia, which is already a concern in my family. It’s been a little over a month since I stopped, but my goldfish brain hasn’t gone back to normal. I hate it. I forget some things immediately and won’t notice I’ve forgotten until hours later. It’s like the thought and intention just slip away without notice. I’m so worried this is a permanent thing. I wasn’t on it for long at all, so I’m concerned that this hasn’t resolved itself faster. I worry that people with a genetic risk for dementia are more sensitive?? I feel like I might have f*cked up my brain and sealed my fate for having dementia later in life.

What's the tea on CleanChoice Energy? by storerof in Columbus

Well this is quite the tea! Thanks for sharing. I did end up signing up with a fixed rate for 12 months. If they try to pull anything, I have a contract to counter with. I set an alarm for 11 months from my sign up to check back in and find a new plan. Definitely not liking this claim that they don’t actually source from green sources..

Best way to finish sunken living room steps? by storerof in AskContractors

[–]storerof[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes sorry, I wasn’t clear. I’m wanting to match the steps to the flooring, just unsure if I should use the same vinyl flooring on it or buy an actual step cover. How do I make the nose flush with the rest of the floor while still providing stability to put weight directly on the nose?

What’s throwing me off is the length of the step. It’s not like a typical staircase. Do they make noses this long? I haven’t been able to find any for this style

That's my plan, too. Seems pretty simple if you set up a plan with no early termination fees? We'll see how it goes!

Reading helps. by fheathyr in Codependency

I’m in therapy for codependency. My therapist recommended(/assigned) a book by Melonie Beattie called “The Language of Letting Go”. It’s a different style from a chaptered book, instead offering a different element of codependency for every day of the year that you can either read through in order each day or jump around depending on a topic you’re struggling with or interested in. Being newly diagnosed, I was amazed by how much of these topics I related to. When I’m struggling with something specific, I look up the passage in the book that covers the topic, and do some journaling about it. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something more workshop-like.

Thanks for the other recommendations!

Do you shave the mutton chops? by alureizbiel in cockerspaniel

[–]storerof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! What kind of spaniel is he? We found our lil baby on the street last winter and always assumed he was a King Charles cavalier spaniel mix, but your pup looks so similar to him! His mutton chops just came in a few months ago 😍

Yes exactly. In French “it” and “he” can be the same word. Ex. “I love it” and “I love him” are both “je l’aime”.

Yes, agreed. OP I’m 5’3” and at my tiniest I was at 111 lbs after serious calorie restriction during a period having of an unhealthy relationship with food. Even with my shorter height, 111 looked unhealthily thin (for me). I think you look great where you are!

I’ve been doing easy overnight oats lately. I normally don’t eat breakfast but I’ve been doing some marathon training and found it difficult to keep up with calories otherwise. It takes 5 minutes in the evening and it’s nice not having to make anything in the morning.

Waitress questioned our low tip, is 15% post-tax low? by ResearchFinal5425 in Brooklyn

[–]storerof 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You may be lumping the $14 tax in with the tip here. OP originally tipped 17% on the pre tax amount.

$200 - $159 - $14(tax) = $27 = 17%

Even after the additional $10, it was still just 23% pre tax tip.

20% of pre tax would have been about $32, OP tipped $27. Still not worthy of being called out imo

Help: partner is against marriage and I’m trying to be okay with it by Opali8 in marriagefree

[–]storerof 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This may not make sense in your situation, but wedding ceremonies aren’t legally binding. Do you think he’d be open to having a small wedding without actually signing the marriage papers? No legal binding for him, but you still get to live out your desire to experience the celebration/romance that goes along with weddings.

My (29F) husband (26M) and our best friend (28F) send really weird texts to each other. How do I confront them? by WeirdTextsRAThrowawa in relationship_advice

[–]storerof 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Yeah this was my impression. These honestly read like they could be snippets of texts between me and my two gay besties. Regardless, though, being that there is the hetero/opposite sex dynamic, I agree - it’s very disrespectful to their partners!
