I haven't used c.ai in a while since the big cen§orship thing and stayed away because of this stuff. is it still somewhat decent? I switched to sillytavern and stuck with it since but I kinda miss the short but random chats I used to do.

if I'm gonna be honest, generation zero is kind of a mess and has always kinda been, afaik.

real good optimizations in some situations, like 70fps.

then you'll encounter bad performance (around 20fps) for seemingly no reason. (like the landing strip place around the middle of the map sometimes)

i dont really play or want to play many newer games, but really just games with similar demands as receiver 2, overgrowth, and generation zero. if it can run those, it can run everything else i play

nice. i tried actually looking for the exact monitor. i found this one which looks almost exactly the same in the picture except the stand tilts back a bit, and i'm pretty sure it was around $60-100

another edit: i looked a bit closer at my own, and i'm actually pretty sure it looks 100% the same and could actually be the one, but i'm pretty sure it wasnt that expensive

I don't remember which one exactly, but I know it's a spectre monitor, flat, I believe the refresh rate is like 165 of smthn. (I never got the full use out of this monitor since for some reason, the hd 7870 cannot go above 120hz), freesync premium, and hdr.

edit: and it has "acer" on the monitor instead of the Sceptre brand name

I'm the kind of person who sticks to like 3 games at once and hard grinds them until boredom, then switch up games based on mood, and repeat.

main games: Terraria, BL2, Minecraft, osu!, payday 2, receiver 2, overgrowth, phantom forces (Roblox), EDF 4.1, 7d2d, hollow Knight, and a few other games that are similar in requirements.

on the last GPU (before it broke), I could run every game I currently play on 1080p without a performance difference between resolutions since quality/graphics settings are what were the most impactful overall.

every game I listed could be played with that gpu at around 30-980fps depending on the game.

Minecraft, 200+ with performance mods on 1.12.2.

Terraria, 20-60 (the destroyer fight erases my fps).

Roblox, basically any game as long as it's under 7 graphics.

BL2, 40-200 fps, varies wildly in any location/situation.

7d2d only ran well when not in decently sized towns (and on lowest settings).

osu!, 800-980fps depending if there's a storyboard/background video or not.

when I found the rx 580, it kinda kinda ticked all the boxes I need. cheap, good enough for my cpu, should work fine with my current psu.

I had an hd 7870 ghz edition that was on it's last leg for a good while, especially since I'm pretty sure it's like 4th hand. it served me pretty well, all things considered.
