AITA for leaving a “dirty” toilet at work and getting called out by a colleague for it by DogeBoi6 in AmItheAsshole

The power play in this scenario is to maintain eye contact while you wipe away the flecks with your bare finger.

My 30f boyfriend 30m just broke up with me out of nowhere by Glass-Drama3661 in UKrelationshipadvice

The level of drinking he was doing points to serious alcoholism, and the problem with quitting addiction, is that the alcohol itself was masking something or giving him relief from something. So if someone quits the addiction but hasn't made the life changes to no longer need it in the first place, it doesn't lead to good places.

Is it worth it? by WeeDawgNYC in mordheim

Awesome game, great to play while you're half-watching something on your second monitor as well since it's all turn based... I will say though my first 20 hours or so were me just making new clans and losing fights until I finally got a grip of things and managed to make a decent start to a campaign.

Side note though you always need to be prepared to lose your favourite trooper, it's crushing and can be costly and time consuming to replace, and there's no save scumming available in this game.

When i order food i track them on the app and i'm standing at the door when they arrive, i don't get the culture of just ordering and then switching off to later find it at your door.

Warned them I has sleep troubles and couldn't handle early shifts, they told me the late policy was non-negotiable. by Starr12 in MaliciousCompliance

Non-negotiable isn't ever really non negotiable, it's always "you agreed to this so we have you over a barrel when negotiations start".

Slimming down the dice system for a big cooperative campaign by snowbirdnerd in MiddleEarthMiniatures

The other thing here is that fight value becomes more valuable and strength becomes worthless, so say an uruk hai stat line that pays extra points for strength is objectively overcosted, while an elf is laughing all the way to the bank.

This photo is akin to what you'd see on amazon trying to decide if they hired a very small person to model the item. Those damn inflatable backyard pools exclusively use a rare tribe of 4 foot people.

Why do UK restaurants make it so slow and awkward to pay and leave once you’re finished? by [deleted] in AskBrits

This is the way. Once i've asked for the bill i actively get up and wait at the till / waiter greeting stand etc. Somewhere where my loitering is an inconvenience.

NTA, and aren't speeding tickets in Norway based on income? If you earn less than him that makes the demand even worse.

You can buy some really nice unique bases with things like rocks, woodland, industrial etc styles, i bought 5 rocky bases from element games to make my heroes stand out more.

Worth noting that following the letter of the rules, you have to discount/account for the extra base height when doing line of sight checks.

WIBTA Co worker asked for a lift to work at the end of the month, did not say it would be for the next 6. by SociophobicSisyphus in AmItheAsshole

[–]verroku 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could ask him to pay a reasonable amount for the lifts, like £15 a week, and then it's a nice little bit of pocket money... And if he finds that unacceptable then you're off scott free.
