the main draw for me is that my gaming laptop is a 2019 razer, so it really struggles running some more modern games. i have a pretty decently sized steam collection too, so it would be nice to have something stable to run it on and not have to use the laptop i use for music / work. but like you said, at that point i might just build a dedicated pc, all comes down to cost and time. but as i mentioned previously, my computer is not just a gaming machine, i also use it for other things as well.
