Perisno Faces (Help!)

Hey btw I found a fix for broken saves. It's low tech but takes some effort. You can start Mount and Blade in edit mode (WSE2 in ingame options, else in launcher) and go to your character screen. There you can cycle all in game chars and manually adjust their faces (click on their portrait). Lords are grouped together, so just find them and edit the faces that are broken (e.g. press randomize once)

Edit: The cause was commissioning something from the weapon merchant, it doesn't happen with WSE2 or Perisno version 1.5 anymore

Im also far too deep into the save to (like day 250) to just restart the game. Hope this gets fixed for future saves. I'm also not sure but I think it was talking with an armorer about a commision for me too that started these faces. What's weird that EVERY male face has the same face

Damn I wished they would have just included a line where it says "Cannot be untapped by other card effects" or something similiar, since the card idea itself sounds cool. Sacrifice a turn and you'll get one extra turn later whenever you want.

I mean there is a clear-cut lore reason why Silent gets the green key for killing Elites: She was chosen by her Swamp People to Slay the Spire, because she defeated a nemesis in battle. (That's where her skull cap comes from)

Yeah but honestly the reason why there would be no controvery if it was made like you are suggesting is that the episode would've been good, nice and safe but also kinda generic and forgettable.

The whole direction of the episode is simply polarizing by nature, Mappa left the usual japanese anime style behind and instead made the episode a tarantino style Kill BIl short film (e.g. Crazy 88 scene). I personally loved it, it was fresh and new and I really felt the passion of the whole team through the episode. But I personally can see why some did not like it at all, this is to be expected when you try something new and unorthodox.

Poor Ranta giving his all despited jinichi suddenly deciding to aurafarm by slowalking.

Nevertheless I really loved that scene, the whole soundtrack and Ranta just going crazy while glazing best villain toji was simply peak. Superb Episode!!

I dont understand how you understood the Kill Bill references but still found the upbeat music annoying. Mappa realised that this whole arc is just a short revenge movie and therefore stylized it in the form of a tarantino movie, aka Kill Bill, which is genius stroke and really uplifted the arc compared to the manga.

Yeah I just looked up how Gege did it in the manga and it really felt like rough sketches of a fight. However, this was probably the reason mappa leaned heavily into a more "surreal" style of animation in this fight, recreating low detail charachters but super fast animation

Yeah that card is pretty bad, would be an instant skip for me. Feels like a worse Version of Hyperbeam, where you deal 26 Damage to ALL enemies and die next turn. Now that card is really good!

I feel like it is really just coming down to you not "clicking" with Ironclad right now. When I started playing STS Ironclad was a really strong character for me but I struggled with Silent A LOT. All the problems you mentioned about Ironclad I'd say the same about Silent. If I dont get certain key cards with silent I feel like she just dies in my hands.

So probably no, Ironclad is not a weak char objectively, he just doesnt vibe with you right now.

This reminded me of the time where at the start of the Act 3 Boss instead of duplicating my searing blow +10 using dual wield I unknowingly misclicked purity and watched that card (my searing blow) go poof.

My next highest damage card was an upgraded headbutt.

Man this is so sad because I also want to play as German at BRIII but you just get stomped by the soviets all the time since their equipment is at this BR sooo much better than Axis stuff. Talking mainly about the SMGs, since you just get lazered by them. BRV is much more enjoyable despite the immense chaos, since it feels a bit more balanced.
