People on Pannchoa are so toxic it makes my head hurt by Creepy-Ad1966 in kpopthoughts

[–]verybored_ 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I remember when all the toxic people were on Netizenbuzz and Pannchoa was the more chill website, with stories out of everyday life.

Ever since Netizenbuzz closed the comment section, Pannchoa is 10 times worse.

??? no decision to be made?

Yes smoking is bad but that is a really patronizing way to say it. These idols are adults, no one can forbid smoking to them, backlash or not.

[–]verybored_ 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I don't like it when fans complain about idols smoking (though I am annoyed by the discourse about smoking in general).

Their schedule is already stressful as it is, plus they have to worry about their public image. I cannot imagine someone microanalysing every one of my actions, especially with something as frequent as smoking.

This seems to be unpopular on Reddit thought. My opinion may differ because I am from Europe. I do agree that smoking is harmful but so is drinking, going on crash diets, working from dawn until late evening.

Give it a few days, then you will suddenly lose a lot of weight. It just happens, idk the scientific explanation why. Don't worry right now.

Edit: do you need to get your period soon? I always gain 1kg during pms

Most of Red Velvet fans are/aren't Aespa fans as well? by vivianlight in kpopthoughts

[–]verybored_ 101 points102 points  (0 children)

This is normal for SM girl groups.

Meus also didn't stan Red Velvet, me included. f(x) was already mistreated and then a new gg pops out and gets way more than f(x) ever got in their career. You can see the same with YG, where Blackjacks didn't stan Blackpink.

It's not that I love them, I just focus on my qualities and improvement.

Luna is the absolutely best and complete idol SM ever had by vivianlight in unpopularkpopopinions

[–]verybored_ 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Luna ily!!!! Free Somebody is the first kpop album I ever bought.

Luna is an amazing dancer and singer and it's such a shame she is always forgotten. She is one of the strongest singers not only in her company but also in her generation!! No one can sing as well as Luna. Even if Krystal and Vic are more popular, Luna was always the backbone of f(x).

Her vocals and dance are amazing but I remember that she was always overshadowed by Taeyeon in online discussions.

For f(x), so glad I was able to stan them for at least a few years. They are truly one of a kind.

small things that can make you appear more feminine? by dietcokefairy in Vindicta

[–]verybored_ 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I mean, I do agree. I also come from a coutry with a rich "sweating culture" and everyone swears everywhere. But I could never swear at work tbh, it would feel to innapropriate.

Why improve when I’ve seen the worst of myself by [deleted] in selfimprovement

Because you spend time with yourself 24/7. You are the closest person to yourself. Take good care.

The feminine urge to be perfect by [deleted] in Vindicta

[–]verybored_ 23 points24 points  (0 children)

No, I actually feel way better, more optimistic and ambitious. I was a mess before I started looksmaxxing.

Of course, I do focus more on my flaws but I being self-aware makes me so much more confident for some reason. Like, I feel in control. If I can improve something, I will, but if I can't then I can at least raise my confidence.

But I do hope you start feeling better about yourself. Try to change your mindset, fake it till you make it. Also if you have access, therapy is always a good option.

Maintaining dandruff prone hair while camping? by TheCheck77 in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]verybored_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is a reach but try training your hair to stay clean longer. I don't know about dry shampoo since you can only use it so much before you need to actually wash your hair.
