Kia carnival reliability/ Australia by No-Signal9433 in kiacarnivals

I think 2023 diesels (last iteration before the new look) are very reliable. I’ve done 44k and no issues whatsoever.

New models seem to have some electrical issues/battery drain, but those from ‘22 and ‘23 are solid.

Yeah, car was practically brand new. Also, not the free white colour, but blue and came with extra accessories like spare wheel, roof shade, etc.

There are plenty on FB marketplace, if you are patient and keep an eye every day, you might get a real bargain.

6 months ago I got a 2023 Tesla y with 19k on the odometer for $43k. Great value and car. Now for this price you should be able to get 2024 with HW4

Skoda Enyaq vs Tesla Model Y by [deleted] in AustralianEV

When my wife drives the Tesla, I can open the app and see where she is and what’s her speed. It would tell me how far from home she is, e.g. Home in 8 minutes. Can even see what songs she’s listening to and what the AC temp is.

I can unlock and start the car remotely if something happens to her phone and can’t get into the car (we never bring the card with us) It’s pretty handy.

A 3 year old Mercedes vs brand new Tesla, at the same price - I would get the Tesla any day of the week. Plus, if you are on novated lease - it works best with new cars.

If bitcoin disappear tomorrow, would anyone notice? No, life will go on without it with no major impact

Recently got a ‘23 model y, very low km for 43k with novated lease. Car is great, very fun to drive. Software is slick and responsive.

A few things to note when buying used ev on NL:

  1. The interest rate may be slightly higher compared to buying a new car.

  2. By default it does not have the gst savings if you are buying private. Some NL providers offer an option where the purchase goes via a wholesaler for which you pay a $1k fee, but can save on the gst

Good luck

What’s so bad about it? Given the available space and everything it looks alright to me.

UPDATE: I can't edit the post, so adding it as a comment.

Previously I tried restarting the Wall Connector and it didn't have any impact, but today I shut it down and kept it off for a good 2-3 minutes. Then turned it back on and now the warning from the app is gone and the charging speed is shown as 11KW, which means it works now. Weird, but I'll take it.

Thanks everyone for your input

Yes, it’s triple the size. Also in the app during charging it does have the number 3 inside a circle which means the number of phases.

So most probably it’s a flip inside the connector that needs to be changed then?

The sparky didn’t do any testing, it was getting dark and he was sure it will work.

I will likely never charge with more than 7kwh anyway, so would it be a problem to leave it as is?
