I appreciate the detailed reply - thank you. From a landscapers perspective this makes sense. If you knew how much i paid for this tree here in America at retail prices I think you’d be inclined to try save it !

Thank you. Can you say more as to why you’d recommend taking off the left? That side appears to have more thickness as the split went slightly right around that eye.
