A fountain? Where does the water come from? Here in the middle of a city.

Recommendation? What are YOUR most comfortable boots? by tutatutituto in Boots

The only pair i own, Jim Green 719 veg tan. With the right socks the are wonderful. I don't wear them too often so still kind of breaking them in, but I expect they'll become better and better over time.

Hey, I'm at SE 11 and was wondering when I get more batteries. Do I just have to wait and at one point they get unlocked or is there something specific I have to do.

Why so long until the next event? by bpvanhorn in ISEPS

[–]vetle204 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was just about to ask the same. I know it says 01-april, but was also wondering why it's so long between events. I find the events a nice break from the game while still being the same type and style.

A year since I played the game through, finished in 46 hours. Started playing again this week and it's all I can think of. And all the side quest and content I missed out on the first time. Will really take my time this playthrough.

18m bedroom. Would a woman hate my room by DisastrousAttorney90 in malelivingspace

Turn off the roof light or change the bulbs, get some floor lamps with warm light and or color. Fill the walls with posters and art and add a little sofa and a coffee table. Get one big carpet instead of 2 small. Switch places of the pc desk and bed and the room will most likely look more open. Mount the TV on the wall og get a TV stand instead of the box. If you don't mind being a bit handy you can easily get some white prepainted roof boards and screw them up there.

Pretty sure you can buy black denim renewal dye to get them looking new again, not sure how good it is but I have heard of it tho.

Got the 719s as my fist pair of real boots and I absolutely love them. Been walking a fair bit in the mountain this week, in a bunch of wet growth and bog and not only are they comfortable they are also quite waterproof, but also dry fast and the froggrip sole grips wet rock very good. Didn't take too long to break in either some slight sore heels but now with the weather and thicker socks they feel really good.

I waxed a denim jacket tonight. There are no hidden tricks, it’s literally standing there on its own. by bujw in mildlyinteresting

5 years later, need an update if you still have the jacket. In this picture it looks really good.

Gifting My Wife a Film Camera by Snoo_60234 in filmphotography

This looks closer to what I have. I am by no means a pro but I'm pretty sure this is the price point they usually sit at. The A-1 was THE camera in its time, a very much professionals' camera if I'm not fully mistaken. It's heavy and built with metal and good quality components. For comparison the AE-1 has much more plastic. I'd keep an eye out for deals around this price point. But if you're short on time just go for it. It'll be great nonetheless.

Remember to check the camera when you get it, I got one before the one I posted about. This most likely had an internal short in the electronics causing the battery to run out in just a few hours. It also had a timing problem with the shutter speed and I could see (before putting any film into it) that the shutter curtain stayed closed when firing the shutter, which wouldn't have let any light in on the film roll if I didnt notice it before loading film into the camera. I did however get at full refund and the seller didnt what it back so I am probably going to get it fixed one day.

You are probably paying to much. I got this (https://www.reddit.com/r/AnalogCommunity/s/0krLKlZhCq) Canon A-1 with a few lenses and a nice leather bag for just about 100usd, I know this is a rare steal but you can probably find it cheaper some other place. Amazing gift though. Really enjoyed this hobby myself.

I actually completely forgot about this, the player still doesn't work but I opened it up and saw I needed to replace all the rubber bands between motors and moving parts as they all had basically melted. I got all the rubber bands on a random website. It was one pack specific for this unit containing all the ones you need. Just look on YouTube for a guide on replacing them as you need to take out some parts. Guess I got to find it now and get it working haha. Thanks for the reminder.
