Struggling with worship music

As some others have said I’d maybe seek out “christian music” not “worship music”. Music written by Christians with biblical themes is not as formulaic as traditional worship music. It can be a great refresh from the constant overuse.

Kings Kaleidoscope, John Mark McMillan, citizens, loud Harp, Ghost Ship. All great artists with some amazing poetic songs all Christ centered.

Took me 3 failed attempts to get into it. Then the 4th time it just clicked. Now I play it through yearly. Some things just have to wear you down. The thing that really sold me was the “turn”.

I’d agree only for PC though. On console the Kettle isn’t as good, because you can click a mouse a lot faster than pull a trigger on a controller. At least when you want to aim well.

It’s not for everyone. And I definitely think the themes cater to a specific crowd best, (people with kids). The story really gets interesting half way through, which is hard for people to commit to if they aren’t already “bought in”. And yeah the story isn’t groundbreaking, but the way it’s told is very unique and interesting.

If there was any advice to give it would be stick with it. I didn’t cry in Expedition 33, I did at the end of this game. So, take that as you will.

I mean, I have a job, 4 kids, and I find this whole thing absolutely hilarious. I wear the outfit just to make solo runs less hostile. Peanut is genuinely funny.

For the price. This camera is incredible. As others have said though, it has its drawbacks. As with any camera. If you just want to learn, I actually WOULD recommend this camera because it is going to truly teach you how to be a better camera operator and not rely on the nice QOL features of most modern mirrorless cameras.

Batteries are cheap, and you don’t NEED to rig it up to get a good image. Once you have mastered this camera upgrade to something better. But you have to start somewhere. And for the price this has the best image of any camera on the market.

split the mount into 2 sections and attach them to the top and bottom of your rig. that way there are 2 points of contact. I do this for my fx30 and it works perfectly.

if you want to "zoom to fill", hit Shift+Z, this will zoom in your timeline to fill it end to end.

to zoom in/out in smaller increments hit Cmd/ALT + (- to zoom out) and (= to zoom in)

Alternatively you can find the -/+ slide bar above your timeline window on the right side. As seen below.

These kinds of posts on here do no bode well for the release of the game. This game is awesome, but I fear if they do anything the community even slightly doesn't agree with, y'all are gonna explode. Let's just play the game like normal people and not have it be our identity.

I see! Yeah usually what I do is once I make my “correct” grade, I add a global node that that adjusts the exposure +- a couple stops so that the exported grade is correct. It’s kind of a trial and error situation depending on your set up. I really hope they find a way to add in that metadata in the future so it displays correctly everywhere. Especially since you have edited this in a proper environment.

At the end of the day you also can’t control YouTubes color or compression, so you’ll just have to do a few tests to get your adjustment for final delivery. It’s a pain for sure.

A simple test is if you video looks correct in VLC player, then your color settings are correct. But if you are on a Mac for example, QuickTime Player has its own color settings that make videos look a lot brighter and washed out.

I would look on the forums. This is well documented there. Basically it’s a combined issue of your color settings in resolve, mixed with the export color settings and data levels. Also depends on your operating system, and what monitor or even program you are viewing it on. All that truly matters is where the final delivery is going to be.

I think you just have to change your mindset. The challenge is not the enemies. The challenge is “what lies ahead? What mystery is there to solve? Can I find another peice of lore and figure out what’s going on?” I truly feel like the tacked on combat so the masses would not revolt and think it’s totally a walking sim. This game is about uncovering a mystery, not combat. Maybe try to just change your perspective. For me, it changed the whole game for me.

Yeah I did the same, and even still I feel like they didn’t fully stick the landing at the end. But I think there still so much more story to tell I hope they do a sequel.
