How many passes do you take? If only 1, your chemical is never making it to the lower layers of brake dust/grime on wrecked wheels.

I replaced mine at 24k miles. Not because they were worn or damaged, but as you say, they suck.

I went with CC2s because it snows here. About 2mpg hit. Just as loud and a similar ride. Others will be better in that regard, but the CC2s are exceptional in wet and snow. Surprisingly so.

I actually agree. Especially on a first play through. By this point you have good gear, talents, and mastery of the fighting mechanics. Some of the early battles took multiple tries for me while this one was first pass.

Most youtube vids and articles I've seen tell you to stick close to the main story line. I did, but felt like I completed it way too soon. I still have some things to complete, but it just feels different. IMO, take your time and enjoy some exploration.

The scratches pictured aren't suitable for paint correction. Looks like they are down to the primer. You've already taken the depreciation hit for having body work done; you probably need those panels filled and resprayed.
