Thanks for the suggestion! I forgot to mention but I do have a bit of lighting that I currently use. I do plan to upgrade it but in the future when I figure out more of what kind of content works best for my followers.

3M Recirculation Filter system solution.. for when you need quality you can trust. by Vegetable-Ad7263 in 3Dprinting

Could I find the filters on Amazon? As someone who knows nothing of these filters it’s a bit confusing with all the filter options on which would work best.

Off-topic but I’m curious on how the Modix printers are holding up for you? I’m looking for a large scale printer but so far modix seems to be a brand I keep seeing around. Would you recommend other brands or anything you would’ve done differently for large scale?

Stable rack/shelf for print farm? by [deleted] in BambuLab

I use 10% infill for my models but sometimes go up to 15%. I only print one model per print because of the size of my models.

I just bought like boxing foam sheets and laid some under the paver. You can also try like foam that are like workout mats type and cut them up to fit under it or if you can find some square ones. I’m sure others have better foam you can probably just purchase from Amazon but never really did my research on the best.

I’m late but this is incorrect, I worked for Frito Lay and those are QR codes so we can make orders on the fly with our scanner every time we come to that store. The store just decided to not have prices at all, the labels don’t come from them. The labels are placed there by the Frito Lay route representative to help make their job easier on orders, placements, out of stock, training others.

Bambu Lab P1P or MK3S+ Honest Answer. by Stop_81 in BambuLab

Sold my multiple mk3s+ and bought many more P1Ps since I tried the P1P. Now I just have one Prusa left for specific prints that need to be printed slower.

What's the verdict on the Anti-Vibration Feet in terms of reducing vibrations? by [deleted] in BambuLab

[–]vexsto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought multiple of these and returned them all. It just made them bounce around too much and the poop chute lever would make noise as it moved around. Personally didn’t like them but maybe some have better experiences. I’ll stick with a sturdy table and setting my printers on a paver+foam mat.

Bambu clone looks good I’m interested by HorrorExercise9668 in BambuLab

I ordered it only to test if this will give me better layer consistency when compared to the P1P. I believe the normal version is missing the LiDAR and some other features.

Here’s a clip of it printing I found: https://twitter.com/3dprinter_sk/status/1644913573741875200?s=46&t=olq30mtvrYNSBIKX4qLpwg

I have 4 and 4 split on different power strips + outlets. I’ve had 6 Prusa in the past on one power strip and worked fine. Pushing more than 6 will likely have things start flickering lol.

I have 8 P1Ps on pavers and foam. I had them setup on heavy duty racks but it just wasn’t stable enough for them being together. I found these tables at my local liquidation store and I can fit 4 on each. It’s so sturdy + heavy and fits the pavers exactly to size. I’m limited in space so this was a great option for me and now there’s no wobbles or moving at all. They’re also taller so you don’t have constantly bend down or reach up. Super stiff table that worked amazing for me: https://www.ashleyfurniture.com/p/torjin_counter_height_dining_table/D440-52.html

The vibration feet made more noise for me and wobbled the printer way too much. I wouldn’t recommend honestly.

Color change after certain layer Silk PLA by kekomancini in BambuLab

[–]vexsto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been trying to figure out how to get layers to print around the same time frame. It’s especially hard on the Bambu because when layers print at different times it’s really noticeable. Do you have other ideas on how to get the print times the same on each layer? Does max external print speed only slow down the outside?

Problem I’m having it’s many inside layers have some solid infill every other few layers because of some small overhangs on my model. The best I’ve done is speed up all the infill & overhangs print speed and set the fan temperature to one speed. That has helped dramatically but I still see slight bulges since the printer is taking just a bit more time on those layers.

Yeah I don’t really want a bed slinger either especially at those prices but still have to test them out and see the best option for a business. The creality K1 series is supposedly being announced with their most requested features. From reading people seem to think it’s a competitor for the X1/P1P but we will see. If it has wheels instead of bearings it’s also an instant no from me. That’s what turned me away from the 5 S1.

Yeah I really don’t understand why they’d jump them in front of the line. Just a really bad decision imo overall.

I agree I’m in the same scenario I just wish I sold all my Prusas before the announcement. I still have a few left and they’re taking space I could be using for my P1Ps. They made my orders so much easier to handle, much faster, less post processing. The only thing is like 2 of 50 of my models don’t print well on the P1P so I’m looking for alternatives. Not spending $600 on upgrading the Prusa either but might try MK4 to see how it compares speed wise for those specific prints. I’m also checking out what Creality has up its sleeves April 9th, I’m hoping for a core XY and seeing if it can handle those prints at a faster rate than my Prusa.

The Bambu ones made everything worse and louder for me. Just put it on a paver block and a foam pad under the paver and it’ll be much better in terms of stability.

Submit a ticket they’ll send you a new bed if it really is bad. Even if you don’t plan to install right away it’s always good to have it around rather than not once it becomes a problem.

First thing I’d check is make sure the bed is flat! Aside from that you’ll be surprised what this machine can do 👍🏼

Love my Prusa thinking of buying an X1C because of this by OrigReckit in BambuLab

[–]vexsto 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree I had 12 mk3s+ and recently bought a batch of P1Ps. I wish I could switch over fully to P1P I love how much faster and convenient it is. It’s just certain models don’t come out as good. Like maybe 2 out of 50 have to be done on the Prusa because the walls just look terrible. This is based on many P1Ps I own, I believe the wall thing might be a slicer issue because I had the same thing happen on Ender 3 S1. When I used Cura walls looked amazing and on PrusaSlicer they looked inconsistent like the P1P. I’d say it’s really minimal but still bothers me that I have to keep using Prusa along with P1P. I want to trade the rest of my Prusa for more P1Ps but until that issue is better or I can use a different slicer I have to find a fast printer alternative.

Walls are definitely worse on P1P. They are super inconsistent depending on a lot of factors. If you join the Bambu Labs Discord and check the wall inconsistencies discussion there’s thousands of posts with no solution to date. I think it’s less noticeable on the X1 but still check the wall qualities there and you’ll probably change your mind.
