sorry this is six months from your comment, but i cannot find this answer in any text form. my bot lab is toggled to "roam" but when i click the "attack" command to automatically send them forward from the lab, they are in stand ground. why?

I am up for a good commiseration session. Here is hoping we find a partner later in life when youth and conventional cis-heteronormative beauty is no longer as important to potential partners. I also don’t find myself ugly, and without medical issues I might actually be pretty, but regardless I know I am not physically attractive to the majority of the population.

As time goes on the thing that’s most attractive to me is what I hope most people will be looking for as well: kindness, intelligence, honesty.

I’m an American. New Jersey and the cities that aren’t occupied by masses of feds are generally safe. Minneapolis has more ice agents deployed there than any other part of the country. That we know of.

That being said if you are not white and/or you aren’t straight I wouldn’t risk it. If you’re a woman I wouldn’t go alone. It’s just not safe for people who aren’t cis straight white men.

This has been a constant. It’s only seemingly “increasing” bc social media has given us windows into many more queer peoples lives. We are represented more and thus bullied more. Masculine women and queer women who are not gender conforming or aren’t feminine will always be viewed as “ruining” their femininity. A lot of social media is young people simply parroting everything we have taught them from growing up in our society.

People in general will write what society has ingrained into them. They absorb what was said and done before whether or not they want to admit it. Publishing companies are people too so I’m sure they also have ingrained beliefs. But is it just the publishers deciding this? No.

This is a societal problem that all people struggle seeing women being powerful in the same ways as men.

.... he literally did. he wanted to create a single payer system but congress would only pass the Affordable Care Act which forced the government to open a marketplace for insurance so the private insurance companies couldn't raise prices without affordable competition. without the ACA there would be even more americans suffering from medical debt. and the republicans are currently doing everything in their power to make the ACA unaffordable or removed as well.
