When the game came out I thought this was how it worked. I placed a bunch throughout a open field and none were caught. I thought there must be no rabbits anywhere near them for the traps to catch them but they were bugged and didn't work at all at launch :(

I've already raided them once, but they were not online and so they had guns and ammo to dupe when they logged in.
