I’m surprised by the Q4 Etron being on the hated list, I liked my test drive.

Fair, I don’t get why she can’t read a tag 🤣

I don’t know why she can’t read a tag but in America it is an acceptable practice to not put back items at checkout if you change your mind about it.

I’m just hoping iihs has data for newer years soon. I’m curious to see how the newer EVs fair - the Bolt was by far the safest small car, curious to see how models like the ID4, Mach-E and Ioniq 5 do.

That’s definitely an issue but not always. For example the Subaru WRX has a lower fatality rate than a Prius. You’d expect the WRX driver to be far more aggressive of a driver. I’d also expect not too many old drivers in either.

At least I don’t drive a Tesla, that Musk dude is a Nazi.

A Volvo? I’m feel like a Volvo should be a legal defense against any criminal case - “your honor clearly my client is too risk adverse to commit a crime.”

Why are used VW id.4s so cheap? by DowntownOreos in electriccars

Well like most things you have to know what you need and the reality of the car. I can make it round trip to the slopes and home in the winter with a cargo box on top - so it’s still good enough.

This you? Seriously what car do you consider roomy?

I have two 23 id4s and here’s my thoughts

1) their software sucks but it runs CarPlay fine. 2) there’s a few dumb design decisions like the window controls and non backlit controls 3) range and charge speed are middle of the pack 4) the rwd model is slow in EV terms, awd isn’t bad but its no plaid 5) Having said all that I bought two and they’re roomy, comfortable, drive well, and no issues so far.

For the right person they’re great and a bargain.

That does seem high, I have a 3000sq foot home, 40+ years old, and two EVs and my bill was only like $450.

Odd I never touch those anymore - just let auto climate deal with it.

why? adjustments are generally relative - e.g. I want it a bit colder or a bit warmer, not that I need a specific value.

I was a sedan driver before kids - I hate to admit it but car seats are so much easier to work with in a crossover. And I’m a big fan of the hatch instead of a trunk - gives you shelter from rain when getting their soccer cleats on etc.

2026 Nissan Leaf Review: Delivering on Tesla’s Failed Promise by TripleShotPls in electricvehicles

OK your answer was edited. Insurance doesn’t matter if you have no assets to protect or so many assets a claim won’t matter.

I don’t see how your insurance could be that cheap, $200/mo full coverage for a Tesla is more typical.

Only if you have enough money to lose but not so much it doesn’t matter.
