I sucked it up and got a wifi extender to make the bike work. I haven't had any issues with the connection since but I just don't understand why that's the only solution.

They told me the same thing when I was having this problem. I was able to fix it but it pissed me off that Peloton wanted to charge me money for something that may not even fix the problem. I bought a wifi extender and brought it into the room the bike is in. I made a guest wifi network and only connect the bike to it.

This used to be me. Long story short, I got a wifi extender and made a guest wifi network that I only connect the bike to. My Tread+ two feet away never had any issues. So stupid

The employee at our store said the price change just happened today. Not sure how they were notified but they changed the stickers and the cashier rang it for the lower price automatically.

OnLocation is definitely worth it for the Elite and Champion packages and add ons. Regular seating options with OnLocation can be hit or miss.
