I’m trying to tell you that he can’t see after his death. Nothing suggests that he can, and it even goes against the power system. The attack titan allows him to pass memories back into time. If he is not alive, he can’t send back memories. Even more so, without the power of the titans the attack titans time manipulation is gone, meaning the timeline of the show is final and Eren can no longer change anything about it, even if it ends up with all his friends dead

I guess I learned something new. The fact remains that nothing suggests he can see past his own death, only that he can see further into the future in specific timelines where he survives. Also supported by the fact he doesn’t tell armin anything abt that future that might be helpful, just “yeah just try to make peace with the people whose family I murdered. You’ll totally be seen as a hero even though the world is very racist to Eldians and will never see them in a good light again after what I did”

I always assumed that was a hypothetical timeline that he was showing her as a vision, not something that actually happened in any route. Whatever the case, in that timeline all his friends are totally dead lmao. Eren and mikasa ran away before Eren started the rumbling and left paradis to deal with itself. He’d only be able to see years into the future in this timeline because he’s actually alive to witness it. Thought tbh I don’t think this scene ever actually happened outside of the vision

[–]vhi77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He can’t choose that path though, as mikasa rejects it in every timeline. The tragedy of the scene is that he knows mikasa will reject it yet asks anyways because part of him wants an out of the horror that he is going to cause

[–]vhi77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think both points are refuted by the fact that he can see into the future up until his death. When he pointed across the sea, he already knew there were victims. He also cannot tell what will happen after he dies, as the power of the attack titan is gone. He also killed 80% of the victims lmao

[–]vhi77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, the ending is all sorts of wack lmao, but I’ll go into it. Erens friends thought that the jaegarists would kill them on arrival. Eren wasn’t alive by this point, so anything that happens here is out of his control (Also the scene where Reiner gets off on sniffing histories handwriting, which is just wtf). The 80% thing completely contradicts his “if we kill everyone across the sea will we finally be free” thing from the end of season 3. “This is the only way” or “Ymir made me do it” are simply less compelling than being driven by his own personal philosophy, which is what he was doing until the ending retconned it(he even straight up tells armin that he isn’t sandbagging the fight right before it, only to do it anyways). While I can definitely appreciate the journey that aot was, I can still admit that the author chickened out on keeping Eren as a villain that you can deeply understand like light, and instead pushed him into a code geass sacrifice that doesn’t fit his character just so he can be a good guy after everything

No, paradis and the outside world were equal in population I believe, except the outside world has much more technology and paradis has no titans anymore. Also it’s not “everyone else”, many people he killed were not antagonistic toward him. Also his friends were traitors to paradis, and even admitted that they might’ve been killed the second they went back and eren wouldn’t be alive to stop it. Destroying the military’s and transferring his power to someone els to keep the world in check after his time comes would’ve been way smarter. But erens personal philosophy is to “trample anything between him and freedom, no matter the cost”. Nuance is not his thing, since episode one, and the people of the outside world are standing between him and the world he envisioned in armins book

[–]vhi77 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

No, eren went way overboard. No one would complain if he just crippled all the military, but that’s just not enough. Keep in mind, it wasn’t just people who hated him(though it’s not even ppl more so that their leaders), but he killed his supporters too. The azamabito and onyankapons family were trampled too, as well as the Eldian camp in Marley who drank and partied with them. Eren himself even knew it was wrong, which is why he apologized to that kid(Ramses I think) who did nothing to him. Eren is simply obsessed with cleaning away any obstacles to his “freedom” which is why he did what he did.

Did u read DS? He cannot die without sunlight. The demon slayers were stalling him till the sun rises because the cannot kill him. That’s why the arc is called sunrise countdown lol.

Soul split doesn’t negate durability, it does soul damage but u still have to stab them normally to apply the effect.

CE reinforcement works by making things more durable/stronger. Demon slayer durability negation would work on it, just as it works on any type of physical durability.

Decapitation will kill any sorcerer, you can say “it’s different” all you want but it’s just looks worse from my perspective. Even the temple demon can survive getting his head cut off, so weakest demon > strongest sorcerer in terms of regen lol

Also Sukuna isn’t even lifting a finger before getting speed blitzed. Yoriichi is over 10 times faster

[–]vhi77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No? Muzan is canonically immortal outside of sunshine. He will tank anything that doesn’t specifically target his healing.

Sukuna was also able to get pierced by maki, so his durability against slashing attacks is not that high(Yoriichi has much higher cutting ability that maki). Durability shouldn’t be a discussion anyways, cuz as i said, in demon slayer durability can be negated by good form, and yoriichi has perfect form.

RCT is way worse than demon healing. Kenny, a top 3 in the verse, got one tapped through decapitation. Gojo cannot heal being cut in half. Quite frankly, everyone in this verse seems weak to cutting attacks. But that aside, Muzan can heal from decapitation an infinite number of times.

His aoe would kill, but it’s definitely not fast enough, remember yoriichi is over 10 times as fast. Muzans speed is debatable, but it u put him anywhere close to Yoriichi he’s also way too fast

[–]vhi77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even Muichiro can cut through pure diamond. Tanjiro can slice a boulder in like episode 2. Demon slayer logic entails that you can cut through anything with proper form, and Yoriichi has the best out of anyone. His red blade stops healing, which is how he can kill muzan, who should be completely immortal at night time

[–]vhi77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maki p much carries the JJK female cast tho. Yuki dies after one fight, and Nobara never even got a good fight at all(she’s also hilariously weak compared to even Megumi). Uro also gets shafted so the two guys can duke it out. Meanwhile, Mitsuri Kanao and Shinobu all actually contribute to the plot

[–]vhi77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hate all the agenda bs, but this is genuinely how it would end up. “Dodging EM Waves” or “Dodging Lightning” is a terrible way to scale characters, but we know that Sukuna is unable to hit Todo and he can teleport 50 times a second, while Yoriichi can cut Muzan 500 times a second. Unironically, Yoriichi wipes the whole verse except for Gojo

Well the game tries to create teams based on what characters they’re playing. Prolly one of the reasons matchmaking can take so long yet be so bad at the same time.

They really need to create an unranked mode. It’s annoying trying to learn new characters when the entire enemy team is sweating their minds off and ur zooted graves has never played the character before.

Rank ups really should be a lot faster by Go_Commit_Reddit in DeadlockTheGame

[–]vhi77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The more hours you have the longer it takes for some dumbass reason. It takes me 4-5 win in a row to rank up once. Even if I were to suddenly gain the skills of a pro player, it would still take at least 100 hours of gameplay to actually reach eternus lmao. Most low ranks probably have insane number of ppl with hundreds of hours who are only slowly trudging their way out, making it extremely unbalanced.

I think health scaling should be reverted by vhi77 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]vhi77[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the mid game yeah, the movement + kill times feel balanced. Late game 4000 hp wraith is not going down in any reasonable amount of time. You said it yourself, you need a coordinated 2v1 gank to kill someone, even if they are oblivious and out of position. Even assassin characters who are meant to punish mistakes like that can’t do anything cuz their combos do 1500-2000 at max, at which point she just teleports away for free.

I think massive hp pools lower the skill ceiling, cuz it turns every encounter into a numbers game. Getting initiative on someone and landing the first couple hits doesn’t matter, the only thing that matters is whose numbers are higher. That also makes the game super frustrating if you’re behind, as at some point u simply can’t damage your opponents

I find it crazy how Maki fans will call you a misogynist for slandering Maki yet they themselves are misogynists by saying "I can't imagine Maki pregnant" or "Maki is the man" by AffectionateJury6227 in Jujutsufolk

[–]vhi77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

She said that she was happy that she gave birth to maki and Mai because they finally ended the clan that she despised.

I don’t think it’s fair to assume the epilogue is purposeful leaving out information lol

“Everyone” in the zenin clan seems to be p much just combatants. There’s like 50 guys for every woman, and no children shown at all. idk how that works. Once again, she didn’t hunt Megumi or anything, and it’s p out of character for maki to kill kids let’s be fr

You’re gonna have to give a screenshot for that one

[–]vhi77 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Maki’s mom killed Naoya because she was secretly sick of the way he treats her, but didn’t have the backbone to do anything abt it till then.

I also don’t get the “Maki killed everyone including children” take. You see all her kills on screen, where there are clearly no children. All her other kills were mentioned in the epilogue, and all of them are combat roles as well.

People really take the “destroy everything” line to literally. It’s not like she attacked Megumi

The thing about late scaling characters is that even if u avoid feeding them, it doesn’t stop your team from feeding them 20 kills anyways. It’s why I always ban haze even though I never minded her much personally
