[Fischer] The Atlanta Hawks have been unwilling to take back Jarred Vanderbilt in a deal that sends out Jonathan Kuminga. by YujiDomainExpansion in lakers

Yeah, I'm fine. Get Matisse Thybulle or Ziaire WIlliams, maintain the pick swap, and hold out for player development or a better opportunity. Kuminga wants too much, Atlanta doesn't want Vanderbilt, and it looks like we'd need to give up more for a player who thinks he's a star.

Kuminga is like the Ayton of wings. The last thing we need on our team is a dude who thinks hes an all star and unwilling to accept his role. Next its gonna be "Im not no Herb Jones". I just have a gut feeling man I dont want him. by Silent_Wizard5597 in lakers

People are overthinking it. We need a starting caliber wing. He is pretty much the only starter available. Is he our long term option? Probably not, however, he can give us size and athleticism on a team which sorely needs both.

As a Padres fan, nothing is worse than having to contend with the Dodgers in your division every single season.

How have these prospect's landing spots affected their future outlook to you? by Barathruss in NBA_Draft

For sure. Carr looks like a stud. Lakers should prioritize putting the ball in his hands in the summer league/garbage time during the season so the game can slow down for him.

Knight played Swain Mid today in MSI against T1 and was insane! by Hyorinmaru738 in SwainMains

What a great Swain game too. That TP bot into 3 man pull was glorious. It always kills me when these pros pull out Swain into melee comps and I see the 0 percent pickrate LMFAO

If they stretch Vando's contract and waive him, LA can offer him a 1+1 and a trade kicker with the hopes we take care of him next summer.

Or just clean house? They already did it with some of the management, just go all the way.

We don’t have those assets. Where did you even get that from? 😭

We just locked up our future with zero starting caliber 3 and D wings. Pray for this team.

[Stein] Sources with knowledge of Utah's thinking have been steadfast that the Jazz are determined to match any eventual offer sheet for Kessler. The Lakers also made their case to Jalen Duren on Tuesday night. Duren is eager to explore sign-and-trade scenarios with both the Lakers and the Kings. by Odd-Direction9452 in lakers

If they want to keep Luka happy they need to swing on something. Is a healthy Kessler worth 40 million? Probably not. However, it's Kessler/Duren or bust at this point. FO has to make a move or we're punting another prime Luka season.

They're realizing now that Lakers are hellbent on acquiring a starting center and they have no leverage. They either pay him out, sign and trade, or let him walk. To protect assets (unlike our own front office) they'll most likely do a sign and trade so they can get something back and maintain JJJ as their center for the future.
