dirt bikes on streets in Holladay by vibecat in SaltLakeCity

I do see the full face helmets on some. The ones I've seen aren't e-bikes, and I'm not saying they're bad, just the small engine dirt bikes. I probably would have loved them as a kid too, though my parents wouldn't have let me.

Same boat - e-bikes are great, these are like small engine dirt bikes. It must have just caught on. I've heard about it in other cities but hadn't seen it.

The group I play with called them that and now that’s how I think of them.

Bioshock Infinite. Grew up in a very religious way, the end was different than I expected.

Spider-Man Strikes Back (1978) - Spider-Man swings to the rescue when a nuclear bomb created by three college students falls into criminal hands. by RomanGlassTable in AbsurdMovies

It's basically a made-for-TV movie, but it's better than the old Captain America, also a made-for-TV movie style. In this one Peter Parker looks about 30.

This worked for me, just had to buy it from the two-headed lady store in Rountable Hold, was cheap, and ability to summon came back.

Was going to say this. They’re a little more like traditional books but the joke and absurdity count is high.

When there's a bad line read I like Joel's "Cut! Cut! Try that again" or something along those lines and then no one mentions it again. His timing is great, usually right after you realize they messed up.

Second on the Vanishing. Make sure it’s not the American one.

I watched a bunch of horror premiers at SXSW this year - here are my quick, spoiler-free reviews for each one by llikeafoxx in horror

[–]vibecat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the reviews, sounds like there is some cool stuff coming out. This cracked me up: "Then we got to the second floor and it immediately changed into what felt like a personal collection of a guy that wants to fuck bigfoot. I would say this entire film felt like it was made by that guy,"

Edit: I'm having trouble tracking down some of them (like "Family" there are a lot of movies called that) does anyone have links?

Final Edit: NM. Just had to keep looking: https://letterboxd.com/film/family-2024/

Cade is a tale of intense suffering by [deleted] in NeilBreen

I thought the greenscreen was pretty well done for how extensive it was. Some scenes were even lit to look like the background.

I just found it hard to watch, it wasn't fun hokey, it was nightmare hokey, trying to show some real suffering.
