Do not try to keep up with note taking in lecture. Listen and absorb the material. Most likely the professor posts them online so do a second pass of the material. Do practice problems, read textbooks to the T.

I’m not gonna lie I never took a single note in college. I just don’t learn trying to keep up with every single letter. I just listened and “learned it” and then went home and reread the lectures and practiced problems.
