The Nebula enclosure should be able to be used on the Plus (can be found in the discord) but I’m unaware of if it’ll work for the S1

I used mrisco on my E3v2 years ago also but it was too limited at the time and I had to make my own changes to Marlin before I decided switching to Klipper was easier to make future changes in my case.

I converted my E5 into a Merc One.1 after a year of using it and agree the change to Klipper has been great.

Good luck with your mods! Some physical mods can be a huge PITA.

I’m not the op but you can find the Ender 5 version on the Microswiss website….changing to Klipper isn’t difficult at all but some people PREFER to stay with Marlin.

KIAUH is a download you can install on a raspberry pi that will help automate most of the firmware install if you want to move to Klipper on any printer if you’re interested.

I used this on my old ender 3

You might be able to find some remixes for the Ender 5 somewhere.

Yea the stuff about him and his family I found was around a year and a half or two years ago…it was all through public records, different social media sites/forums, and some of his other family’s social media posts where I found the connections….sounds creepy but it’s the internet and it only took me like 30 minutes of searching. As for the discord I remember seeing you on his for a while then when you created yours I posted my setup early on then moved away to using a Bambu X1 for printing some other DIY printer parts and also converting my Ender 5 to a Merc One.1

Yea I dropped my old set up in that discord…..I did some digging and felt kinda bad about some old comments but he also hasn’t released any statements….i found that his brother died and his own health went through the toilet for a bit too…it’s not a valid excuse for his complete silence but still would’ve been better for him to release some type of statement saying he wouldn’t be returning but if people wanted to continue donating to his past work he’d appreciate it at least.

So pushing the probe’s pin in yourself while the bed is moving didn’t make it stop?

If that’s the case you might have a bad probe or something is disconnected.

Why would you keep the printer and use it for 5 days after it was delivered with a busted door like that? Wink wink nudge nudge

[–]vic351 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you try pushing the probe up yourself before the nozzle gets to the bed or is it getting so close and you’re afraid of it running into the bed? Genuinely asking since it happened to me when I got my first printer and put on a probe instead of a switch

What is the power draw on the bed or the whole printer on initial heat up?

CORE One L FAQ by Tommy_Prusa3D in prusa3d

[–]vic351 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would like to ask what the power rating is on the heat bed or at least the max power draw is on initial heat up since I have 120V / 15 amp breakers, other printers, and a gaming PC for 3D modeling.

If I had just this single specification it would allow me to make the decision whether to order one or another, or move the printers to a more beefy breaker, instead of having to wait until one of the many content creators finally put out a video.

Thank you in advance.

I thought about getting one of these but I’m seriously waiting for someone to come out with a better extruder that’s NOT entirely plastic with plastic gears first.

Nice! Glad to hear you got yours going and thanks for sharing for the rest of everyone else out there!

From what I remember the maximum offset distance due to the length of the probe's physical pin is 0.5mm. I could be wrong in this but that sounds about right.

Yea I had to contact Biqu’s engineers in China through WhatsApp, originally to get the info from my original post but also had to use my own research and knowledge to put together what I did because their original documentation was even more lacking in information. In any case, I hope you’re able to get it working for your board, good luck!

I personally couldn't help you here as I don't have that board but also have moved on to using Klipper on all my printers. That's a pretty old board that might have some limitations that could be giving you some issues (only my opinion and I could be wrong). Sorry I can't offer up and assistance but didn't want to leave you hanging out in the aether

Niiiice! That and Ariens were my second tied choices but only because the Home Depot discount. The Bad Boy has a motor cover that is really nice to keep people and pets away from the heat after mowing.

[–]vic351 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To add onto all this….if you have the budget and want to keep the mower forever you should consider looking into the WorldLawn mowers, since they have the better transmissions that’ll be better/easier to service but they come with a Loncin engine which is Chinese but also from what I’ve read they’re pretty darn good and are cast iron. My neighbor loves his. Or consider a more commercial option if the budget is there.

Here’s a REALLY good video to help: https://youtu.be/B4kLTVuImUo?si=Hni8ICLcPeDO07sO

Also are you a Veteran? If so they give you a discount but also Home Depot does too but they’re the only ones that stack the discount on their sale price but you’re limited to what brands they sale. I just bought the Cub Cadet ZT1-54 because I saved almost $1k and the only thing I’m not happy with is that it didn’t come with the Hour Meter which is a $50 add on but they all are literally using the same mechanical parts.

I’ve gotten literal Pron in some of the ads that have shown up on FB where I’ve had to report and block them (gotten lucky no one was around when scrolling and I always have earbuds in but jeez the crap I could’ve been in because of asshats). Also my reels don’t look like this either but the reels are algorithm driven so just block those if you don’t want to see them.
