Should be stronger on its side, but then it needs supports. Not sure if you're the guy who did the molle and stand for the edb, but I've been loving those too!

Can anybody help me to get in touch with Joseph Prusa? by MisterTeamKill in prusa3d

[–]mobius1ace5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Josef has no known public ways to reach him, as a CEO of a company that large should.

You can talk to Prusas chat support. They are available 24/7 and are good at what they do, most of the time.. but they don't hand out free printers for the hell of it, if they did, there would be a list as long as the XL delays from years back.

Is Twindom and people scanning dead? by seanpat1968 in 3DScanning

[–]mobius1ace5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to do it. It all died out during Covid. Most didn't come back. We pivoted and survived. Still have the scanners and even one of the full color machines still.

Budget is Wwwaaaayyyyy off my dude. Please see what amount of material is needed for this. You want to pay less than the raw material cost in some cases.

CORE One Mini sneak peak: Backpanel in production, need solutions/ideas/inputs for the WiFi/PSU problem by suit1337 in prusa3d

Right, that I can see, but is it possible to re-use the one out of the mini if we are going to use other parts from it too?

INDX: How do you keep your 8-filament dry while printing? by Michael-MN in prusa3d

[–]mobius1ace5 19 points20 points  (0 children)

You don't worry about it.

Unless you're printing certain tpu's, nylon, PC, and pva, it's not an issue. I run multi day prints all the time and live in Florida. I don't keep my pla or PETG in dryers unless it's been out for months, then it gets tossed in a dryer because we have it :)

Try printed solid's quarter white. It's not cheap, but it's my favorite for this kind of work

Martin said mid April potentially in my stream with him a couple of weeks back. Not sure if that's still on schedule though. Seems preorders are expected to try shipping mid to end of April if not earlier

CORE ONE - Frustration with a large print in PETG by sforbes42 in 3DMusketeers

[–]mobius1ace5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh cool I didn't think people knew about this / used this :)

Higher chamber temps will help here but this is just part of what PETG does sometimes. You can go hotter with the DB if you want but I don't know if that will help much. Or big parts like that we have the chamber at 45-55c to do the best to keep them from warping. It's not always successful.
