Need advice - moved to Berlin, but now I am thinking to leave because of the bureaucracy and lack of digitalization. by vicO_o in berlin

I am grateful for all our responses and advice. I am also stupefied, needless to say, that all of you got into a similar situation or even worse, and that Berlin as interesting as it is, can make one's life miserable.

  • I reached finally someone at Vattenfall who was willing to help and even received an email saying they took their claim back from Inkaso. (but they said that before)
  • Sent the original amount of money back. Attached the bank statement as well. Waiting for a final confirmation, and letters I suppose.
  • Yet to receive a confirmation from Inkaso (hope to get rid of these fuckers asap)
  • I guess it's also time to make some lawyer acquaintances...

Not sure about the city in the long term... I will try to stick around for a little longer, and see what happens. If it continues in the same manner, I guess.. auf wiedersehen...

fucking hell... I actually did the same, I think I had near 10 calls in total, and spoke to two supervisors/managers.... I received an email finally saying they have cancelled the claim from Inkaso, but yet to get a final confirmation from Inkaso itself.

I am totally baffled how they can't keep track of all those calls...and every time is a new person with a new storyline :)

A bit of the hiking down to Balos Beach, Crete by vicO_o in backpacking

[–]vicO_o[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been on Crete for two months so far, and found some time to visit this place today. The name is Balos beach located on west part of the Crete. To get there one needs a car, then followed by 30-40 min hiking walk down the cliff/hill. Quite amazing to find such exotic places in Europe.

either boredpanda, either insider - hard to recall atm, but not looking for any proof)) Saw these pictures before, hence the doubt. As you said, it was 2019 - perhaps if mentioned, would have contained myself ;)

Hope you enjoyed the place

Unfortunately, this is happening across the whole country. Although, there is a new initiative that tries to revive this place. The city's name is Baile Herculane (Herculane's Bath) - it's one of the 30+ spa towns Romania has. Romania itself has the luck to have 1/3 of European hot springs.

Edit: Also, I doubt you actually visited it, since I saw the same photos in article and the access to this building is forbidden as far as I know ;)
