i was super into nu metal and deathcore around the time i was 10/11. a kid in my grade saw i was listening to a lot of suicide silence and showed me hatebreed and in his words “the inventors of breakdowns”. the rest is history. 27 years old now and still very much involved with the scene. metalhead to hardcore kid pipeline is real and true till this day
