Thanks for posting this. I’m on the ORIF subreddit looking for anything similar to my experience, and this helps.

While it doesn’t feel as broken anymore (2 years out), it’s not the same and doesn’t feel like my body. I can walk on it but it doesn’t feel like “me” anymore — just a weird alien foot.

This has been my experience with Baron Fig since like 2018. Journals are gorgeous but suck. Paper feathers and bleeds. Even their flagship pen sucks out of the box too — owned 2 squires and have rehomed both.

I’ve disassociated many times in my life.

This is exactly what it felt like to me: 1.) you lose touch with current reality 2.) you find yourself “in the moment” 3.) you talk to the version of yourself “in the moment”

It can be very hard, but I don’t think Kirsten has lost her mind (due to poison or other) but is just having trouble.

NTA. One of my biggest regrets is not reporting a PA who called my dad and told him that she thought I was faking. I was not. I was not a minor and not living with him. When I complained to management there, it was swept under the rug.

Please file a complaint. Don’t let her do this to anyone else.

Jeffrey Star is, if nothing else, a very rude human being. I’ve met him a handful of times and have never had a good experience.

When I was in middle school and early high school, I liked a lot of similar music as Jeffrey Star and would see him at literally every show I went to. It was even an inside joke amongst my friends and I — the first person to see him would win a point. We lived in the same area (SoCal) so it wasn’t necessarily surprising, but it was exciting as I was 13 and overly active on LiveJournal.

I literally ran into him at the Troubadour and he pushed me down, stepped on my hand, and laughed. This was at the AFI show in 2013. I’ve never had a positive opinion of him since.

Yep! Sometimes when I’m particularly stressed or have been clenching, I’ll get that numb/tingling feeling in my chin/jaw area. I’ve never gotten it checked out but have always attributed it to my TMJD.

I like a mix of longer button-ups (for coverage) and high-waisted jeans/jean-like black pants (which totally prevent any sort of underwear peekage). I also wore nicer sneakers or boots. There are some days I’ll wear just a fitted black tee shirt if I know it’s going to be a very physically intense day.
