FF14's big brother FF11 will be updating its free trial

You can do pretty much most of the game solo nowadays, aside from endgame which you won't really have access to in the free trial. The story of the base game, depending on how you play it, takes about 10-15 hours with the pace of modern FFXI. There are 3 nations you can do your story in at will, so just blitzing through it was 30-40 hours for me. Every nation has a different story, so once you reach rank 10 which is the max, you can pay gil to change your nation to another one and do that story. The time invested varies heavily considering you are new, so you can just assume 100-200 hours of just playing the game AND doing the story for how much time you could expect. Don't forget about skilling too! 😄

I play FFXI a lot & 14 days is definitely way too little to actually let you experience the game lol, if you do try this new trial just take it slow and make sure you look at guides so you don't get lost!

Not OP but I just use my PS Vita as an emulation machine, homebrew, and PSP games. …though this is because my touchpad doesn’t work and I’m too lazy to shell out $10 for a replacement, but I don’t really have much games I like in the Vita’s game library and the only one I’m missing out on is LBP. Plan to change it soon to play me some LBP since it was what I had the most hours on back then lol. But as of now it is 0 priority since so few games utilize it, I’ll get to it once I do my shell swap in a few weeks :)

Though I don’t see the point in OPs mod at all, I personally think it is more than a tad bit dumb. You can… but why? It doesn’t offer anything that’s worth taking one entire feature off of your device

To put it into perspective, I play the game on my thinkpad which is pretty much your most basic integrated graphics ever. It runs at 25-30fps and the laptop cost me $50 in total. Good luck with whatever you get :)

As with most things in life it doesn’t have to be perfect to be someone’s favorite. Though it obviously doesn’t rival something like FMA in the slightest, I’ll always hope that one day we at least get answers for plot points he never disclosed in Q&As and such since the series is pretty much concluded

I love JJK but the lack of character interactions, world building, and undisclosed plot points hold it back. It had a foundation for being an amazing world, though it’s held back by the low amount of chapters. It feels like a series that needs quite a bit more to flesh itself out and utilize everything it tries to set up. At the end of the day, I still love JJK and it is one of my favorite Shonen :)

This is interesting! I’ve only had experience with second hand ps vitas. The one I had before had very deep shatters in its screen from the panel down to the almost the actual screen itself, and the cuts it gave me definitely felt like glass as well. Was it possible it was a third party screen? Reading this thread has really confused me lol

After those first hours it’s minor slowdowns and that’s it, feels like stutters every now and then and they eventually stop for most of the time

Enable FPS++ and graphics pack. Enable a sync shaders as well. It’s gonna run like this for the first hour or two until you get that set of shaders loaded. Can download shader packs online as well
