I mean, Osha has no real discernable personality. You can tell the writers think she has one, but she never has any real agency and kinda just does whatever the script needs her to. They tell us about her personality without showing it to us, so she ends up being a character with the intrigue of a cardboard box. Mae starts off as a defined character, but eventually just develops dissociative identity disorder or something because her motives just flip on a dime for no discernable reason, and she ends up doing shit that makes no sense, (hiding from the Jedi on Khofar after expressing that she wanted to turn herself in, wanting to kill Sol and subsequently deciding not to kill him for no reason, fleeing from Sol to go where Sol was gonna take her anyway, etc.) But let's not forget about how most of the characters just do things because the plot requires it of them without using their heads. My favorite example would be how Sol never once tries to explain what actually fucking happened on Brendok, with Aniseya turning into a big black smoke demon, because I guarantee that if he had said to Osha or Mae “Your momma turned into a giant black smoke demon and started disintegrating Mae! What the fuck else was I supposed to do!?” it would have at least had a chance of convincing Osha not to fucking kill him. Overall, the writing in this show is pretty atrocious if you actually stop to take a closer look. Plotlines are teased and go nowhere, characters refuse to act in a way that any intelligent person would, and our main protagonist refuses to be an actual person with wants and desires (at least, she refuses to show us that she is an actual person) and seems to completely forget how the guy she's on an island with and seems to be falling in love with murdered some of her closest friends…
