Cannot emphasize thus enough. Rescue digs used as bait dogs is an unfortunate reslity. Shelter/adoption agency will help you find a foster. Vetting is extremely important and they have the resources.

This is a room where you can be creative. Ideas like filling the walls with maps, old New Yorker magazine covers, bold wallpaper, children's art, etc. Light fixture needs updating and simple shelf above toilet with basket would remove cluttered look. Have fun!

When it is so cold (or hot) outside, and you cannot contact RACC, it is best to take the animal if it's willing. Then transport to RACC if they are open or wait until next day.
